i am curious about the offer. 10Mbps, 100GB quota & rm118 mthly fee. what they mean by limited offer?

let say i have to queue up with my applications during offer period. then when the installer comes to fix up the services for my hse. i mean after maxis withdraw the offer. when it comes to my appointment. will i be slapped with rm200 onsite installation + rm218 mthly fee efective the day i commence services with maxis?

Try call CS ask them.

i called CS via maxis mobile. they say need to check and get back to me. at same time rush me to apply first. but i said hold on.

this is why i post at lowyat. if i can get answer from CS. I need not to ask around here.

maxis uses tm tech? they only need access to tm infa which only tm contractors or staff would have access.

if tm wanna screw maxis up. it always be a tip of a finger coz they are under tm mercy.. i prefer maxis setup their own fiber infra in new housing project. then we can benchmark exactly tm vs maxis fiber.

the maxis promo plan actually meant to profit tm. this i can be very certain. they break even with tm via mass quantity of users signup. while tm offer it's vip at slight higher price.

what will happen when all the users sign up. do expect network congestion? this give maxis reason to start capping.

the same i experience with p1, 1st year everything is so good. only 9mths later hell break lose.. end users screaming, cursing & yellin is nothing new.

when problems happens. tm will squeeze maxis of their technologies which can benefit it's subsidary celcom..

not politics alone.. bottomline is tm monopolized the fiber infra

any offer too good to be true. will surely has it's catch. we do not see now. probably will be later on the road when you use their services.

I don't think they will continue on with this for very long....
*
you mean the offer is limited? means no plan to extend due to overwhelming demand?

i pray very hard not as people will start to flood the fibre lines n capping will be done sooner than we thought
*
they won't simply cap. if no one complains of slow surfing. with 10Mbps speed, you know most ppl naturally will do heheee. then maxis will find the users complain as a means to justify their capping lolss.

Try complain to them router problem. Maybe will change for you but same Thomson brand.
*
it always same brand.. perhaps if anyone successfully configure 3rd party router for maxis. likewise tm unifi there are variable choices.

how much u bought it? the price is for each or pair?
coz i saw it is only for 1..
so need to buy 2 boxes then cn get a pair..
still need cable..but use up power socket..unless u put it at an extension, then ok la..
but i hope the speed did not decrease
*
usually aztech sold in 1 unit. u can buy a pair in a box like dlink or tplink. estimated budget rm200+. recommended straight directly to wall socket. i advice u buy those with extra 3 pin socket. so u can plug other pheripherals on top the homeplug.

like my case 2 end of devices are ups'ed. that's why i dun use wall plug. my wifi coverage with new router solved all my problems.
