Tested, speedtest on d other server, P1, TM, Umobile get around 5MB, but maxis is 11MB. Tested download, still quite stable, direct ftp can be reach 1.4Mb/s from microsoft website, download song from china website, still consider ok, average 700kb/s

I think if got money and time wan to bought another router to setup. Then can by pass time DNS and get better wifi signal quality >"<

I installed Maxis 4mbps package about 1 mth back through their employee referral program (my sis works in maxis)

before installation was done, suddenly maxis came up with the 10mbps package and i quickly double confirm with my sis if i need to cancel my 4mbps and apply 10mbps fresh or get the 4mbps first and then upgrade later. My sis check with the PIC and said install first and upgrade later

ok, so i go along with it. after installation, called CS about this and get a case no. CS told me to go to Maxis centre to submit the form to upgrade and I duly do so in E-Curve centre

waited and waited, still nothing. after about 2 weeks, called back CS and they said will complete the upgrade in 1 week

waited 1 week, still nothing.

called back CS and she promised no matter what (either good or bad news), someone from e-Curve will call me that day

waited, till next morning, nobody called

call again CS to complain and they check with e-curve and feedback got technical or some mumbo jumbo issue, not sure when can complete the upgrade. I told them I won't give them a "blank cheque". they must give me a deadline that they will fulfill. the CS told me someone WILL call me the next day about it

waited the next day (and no surprisingly), nobody called

again, i call the CS ....

Note : The next few steps just repeat call CS, promise call back, never call me, i call back CS to complain ....

I also intend to replace the Thomson with my current Asus RT-N66U.

Can you please share your setup experience with the Asus.

m1 is not maxis..
it is a provider in Singapore

that is the full name
or u can call it "mobile 1"
only 3 major provider in singapore: singtel, starhub, m1

maybe you should try first coz you alrady have the router.

try ask their CS to help.
maybe they will make special firmware for maxis fiber.

Just ask why need to do setup since after install already can use. 

To do setup due to need to better wifi signal.

Actually pass few day i just saw a up to date user guide to setup A-Z for maxis internet. Including the maxis vlan setup and all those settings, but thomson router nid to use if you wan to use ur maxis phone, due to market not much voip router.

how to setup vland id for maxis fiber at asus n66u ?

That means we need change their default setting to get better signal? Do you have any better setting to shared here?

Any idea for N15u? Not much ppl command about this.

Toh is success, but depend what asus router u buy, do remember should found the router come with the vlan setting only can use.

Actually after u flash tomato firmware, all problem solved. As asus firmware always consume alot bug ~.~

Oh I pray you'll succeed with Maxis Fibre too! Please please please!
