Is there any termination fee after your contract finish?

If not, then use both if possible.

Will need to pay more each month but got 2 line at the same time.

Better than paying termination fee for nothing right?
*
there is no termination fee after contract finish
that is why im holding my application first to wait for iptv to roll
some said maxis + astro, and it is on today they said it is lunched...

early termination will need to pay the penalty, but not monthly fee * remaining months. the new calculation is depending on your package subscribe.

the penalty fee can be found here: http://www.tm.com.my/about-tm/media-centre...ERMINATION.aspx

normal streamyx package: RM350
student package(cooluni pack): RM600
smile.gif

can't wait for someone to give a feedback on Maxis's service.
*
i have already call TM twice FYI
either call is different answer..
1st call they said it is under normal acc eventhought i am 1mb grad pack and not cool uni pack
2nd call they said it is under monthly*remaining month.. that also still make me pening
which one is correct one???? rclxub.gif

I heard a friend mention if you have unifi installed and still in contract, Maxis will solve the unifi penalty for you if you decided to swap to maxis broadband 10Mbps package, is this true? anyone heard of this before?
anyway, i am hoping they have iptv soon because i need iptv (for my parents) as we do not want to install satelite tv for extra bill.
*
i hardly doubt it.. rclxub.gif
iptv is coming soon~

I currently have the student package by streamyx and will last until this September. Question is can I still apply for Maxis fibre without terminating the unifi so I don't have to pay the RM600 penalty? Is it possible to have both the Maxis fibre line and TM's line at the same time? Thanks.
*
wait, i am confuse rclxub.gif , u subscribe to unifi or streamix grad pack??
if unifi, the panalty is RM500, and for streamix like grad pack they told me that the penalty that i have to pay if i terminate streamix is (my monthly subscription *remaining month in the contract that means RM100*6=rm600). and if u are cool uni pack i think the penalty fee is RM600 fix.

I'm the student grad pack (the one with free notebook). I'm just wondering is it possible to just leave my current line AND still install the Maxis fibre line there without terminating it so I can just continue paying RM88 until September which is still cheaper than the RM600 penalty.
*
if u ask me, i think i keep the streamix and install maxis ftth at the same time..
it is not worth it to pay the penalty.

To watch the same Astro channels, you have to pay the same amount... savings = RM31 only.
Do you think Astro's gonna let them lose so much money RM164 ?
*
when they will lunch it?? can wait for their iptv..
at least no more weather disruption cool2.gif

Yeah, the waiting list now is just too crazy. More than 3 months for areas with ultra high demand!! @@
A cat can get pregnant and give birth to its young in 2 months time....LOL

That being said, those who cancel it and want to apply again when the Q is shorter, this promo package won't be available anymore by then....I guess its a game of trades...good stuff = long Q

Remembers me of going to a Jusco Open day sale....or be in Q for free tickets at The Star tower....
*
how bout setapak??
is the demand is high??
if it is high that is good for me, cuz plan to get it in october.. i can Q la..
can u check??

just come back from maxis KLCC, heard from the CS there, they said that IPTV is going to lunch on 28JUNE.. and for installation around RM80, and for IPTV is added RM20 into ur bill.. he also said, better keep astro first. is that mean that maxis bring different channel from astro??

it is bundled?
then y they are charging?

*
i dont think that they will bundle the iptv..
i just come from maxis klcc today, they said RM 20 for iptv and the installation is RM80
but, i think there is a good side, i think they make a choice whether customer want iptv or not..
