Sigh, until now no call ever since my installation was pulled out and returned yesterday during the midst of installation.. seriously feel like lodging a complain to CFM. Wasting my time for nothing.

When did you apply? It will take them at least 5 working days...
*
I applied at 31/5/2012. Installation date was 19/6/2012. They came but TM representative did not come, they pulled (cancel) the installation and until now haven't set a new date for me. Seriously what am I waiting for? doh.gif

Call Maxis CS inform that you require a confirm installation date on the spot through the phone. She will pass the call to the respec person and give you the date immediately. That's what i did.

Called Maxis CS again and did what you mentioned, but she said she couldn't confirm or transfer the call to anyone, but she will send an email to relevant department to call me & set an installation date today... but I don't have high hope for it, as most of the time these "CS" will just do their empty promises smile.gif

It's kinda disappointing to hear as if the maxis guys don't have any kind of authority over the tm guys/always at their mercy.. Later on should there be any technical problems with the network, then we'll keep on getting "sorry we can't really do anything, the problem has been reported to TM"
*
Yes and to be honest, I'm disappointed with the customer service provided by Maxis. They should know better that we customers will deal with them (Maxis) if anything arises. By telling us that it is out of their control (TM's structure & employee), it is very irresponsible of them.

I mean, it's just like going to a restaurant, ordering food and found it to be expired / spoilt; and while complaining to the restaurant/boss, they just simply tell you "oh, it's beyond our control.. the materials are sent by our supplier.. we cannot do anything". Seriously?

But I'll keep my finger crossed that the same problem will not occur again next week... and worse thing is, my internet connection at home will be cut anytime from now (terminated on the same day as installation date, SHOULDN'T have done it doh.gif)

Random ques to you guys out here....

How customer centric to do you think Maxis is?

Is Maxis products expensive?

Appreciate some feedback...thnx......
(jz throw whatever you got...as long as no f**k here, f**k there.... ><"

My honest 2 cents:

Maxis is one of the most expensive telco / ISP provider as far as I know, but this recent years I've been seeing various attractive promotions (or benefits to existing Maxis customer), A LOT. Even more than my once-favoured DiGi (ported to U-Mobile now).

But well, aside with the shitty installation experience I had two weeks ago, Maxis' experience can be considered as good, if not better. But there's one thing that's build-up over time tho, any Maxis promotion, I WILL and MUST read through all the Terms & Conditions, small footnotes, small *, any hidden T&C, etc. because Maxis are previously known / famous for having ridiculous T&C hidden somewhere.. laugh.gif

Just my two cents / a little feedback. smile.gif
