i still havent change my private IP to public IP even i can do it anytime the reason is i dont see its affecting my speed or download speed, i still can get full speed when torrenting i been using almost 100gb pm 90% torrenting,

maybe if i need to use IP camera or ps3 multiplayer then it might affect me.

very sure, my usage is 90gb , xtra charges i just recived my bills last 2 days it show less than what should i pay , i guess it because of the pro-rate charge.

my internet on 24/7 and my son and wife open youtube on ipad and iphone every hour

i got 6mbs 60gb for rm138 just finished download the walking dead episode 10 utorrent

i got it for 138 because my house is under maxis infra so i got rm20 discount

Q1: i guees it will applied for both download and upload but i cant tell because no quota implement yet.

Q2: refer to my prev post. My torrent speed is 500kbs to 700kbs utorrent and yes it show portforwarding fail but sometime success and still full speed. That the reason why i never ask for public ip

ya lah any bad thing? i been using it for 2 month my conda got both unifi and maxis infra both no problem same speed and i never experience any disconnected never my router and modem ON 24/7 full speed 500-700kbs

please highlight to us if there is any problem , i also want to find out

my house(condo) did not use VDSL or telephone port like unifi , maxis is using its owned infra prevly i also want to install unifi but port infra finished so i take maxis.

i guess its depend on the infra , if there use TM infra they will use VDSL or if there own(maxis) infra, they will drill hole . my condo using maxis infra.

i think can because my condo have both unifi and maxis

i think u have to ask maxis if there got infra at ur place or not if not u cant even apply.

the speed is not like 3G brodband not consistent , Maxis fiber is like unifi wired if ur place got maxis infra the speed should be consistent.

1,2,3 and 5 is confirmed im using maxis

Yeah i also cant see y i need to change to public ip even i can do it anytime. Unless i need ip camera or ps3 port forwarding.

Currently it fullfill my needs full speed more than unifi vip5

Even i see unifi user download speed being throtle by tm , refer unifi thread in here

Thats great, i just pick some of the unifi user in the unifi thread complaining about the download speed

1. Private IP but can request from maxis public IP no problem at all anytime.

2. dont really understand( PS3 u need to request PUBLIC IP or else you cant do portforwarding BUT im playing BF3 online PC no problem my router can do port forwarding i dont have diconnected issue like others.

3. i guess soon every Internet provider will impose this restriction, UNIFI have started read their thread but some deny , BUT MAXIS i CONFIRMED not yet , i have the senior staff in maxis confirmed that they allowed it maybe to get more customer apply .

u can view temporary because no quota limit , i have called maxis and confirm yesterday
