Guys... I think I'm changing my mind lah... all these problems you guys having seem too overwhelming... also I don't like to be forced to use the Thomson router for VoIP. I want to cancel lah...

I think I'll stick with my Screamyx 1mb for the moment until TM come up with a better offer. At least at the moment I can still play TF2 (even a lil bit lag sometimes). Also Maxis CS described here sound like shit - some customers kena kencing la, some even got scolded some more lol. I'm quite satisfied already with TM's CS (eventhough they usually ask noobish unrelated details)... today 7am I called about line problem, 9:30am someone came and fixed.

Seems like speed is okay already for some people? How about the ping? Anyone manage to get <15ms from a local server? Gamers... can play FPS smoothly now?

Yea I ask that because I saw someone said he couldn't play TF2. Anyway, do you play on US and Europe servers? I'm asking that because PS3 TF2 are only available on US and Europe servers. And by smooth I mean not getting shot by someone when you know you shot him first

I'm using Screamyx. I won't get Unifi until the price becomes attractive enough.

Different people have different interests and preferences. Why is it so hard to respect that?


They want you to cancel supposedly to prevent bandwidth congestion, not because they sincerely advise you to.

For me, I wrote to customercare@maxis.com.my with my name and IC number. After that they replied asking for address and alternate phone number (my mobile phone number) for verification. Hopefully the cancellation will be 100% done after this.
