Out of the box i guess the desire wins, my dads SGS lags greatly and battery dies out quickly. If u plan to root and flash customs on the SGS, things would be on the good side smile.gif

out of the box i kinda agree that desire wins without any mod, but nothing much to do to galaxy to make it fly, you just need to download an app from market, 1st click to root 2nd click for lag-fix. tadaaaa its done, less then 5 minit no need to attach to computer and do all sort of complicated update.zip stuff

you cant judge the battery life just like that, you need to see the usage, and desire have a kernel that could save battery, so no fair if you compare if you already have that kernel install. i always have about 30% left at the end of the day (12 midnigt). i use it to play simple games such as asphlat for half of the day, while wifi is on half of the day also

you will never get any android in the end, since they are just keep coming laugh.gif

Just get one that the hardware would last long enough, and I think SGS has that potential? hmm.gif (do bash me if i'm wrong laugh.gif )

Hohoho... what do you expect?

A flop in desktop gaming coming to mobile phone arena and being crowned champion... that says it all.

Just wait for Nvidiot offering and see how they eat PowerVR for lunch...

Im not hoping for much on the phone, after all gaming is not a priority. Rather some stupid games to pass time.
However, Im thinking to buy a powerful tablet to replace my laptop and hoping Nvidia could deliver.

If gaming is a crucial requirement - the Galaxy S wins hands down due to its better and faster graphic processor, Coupled with its gorgeous and bigger screen . There are several comparisons on the web - each case the Galaxy S win ove other other Android - Nexus, Desire, Motorola Droid

Wait for the Desire Z then. It's touted to be the next dev phone.
