Friends,

I am facing this situation, my iphone 16gb is running on 3.0, so i went to itune and accidently restore my phone, after that when i connect to itune, there was a remark 'the simcard in iphone appear not to be supported'. So i was panicking, i tried to google around and found out the best thing to do is to buy phonebook, but when i check phone shops, none are selling it...

Those who are expert in this could u please advise me, very much thankful for your superb advice. tq

i am browsing but couldn't find ler, anyway is there any way to jailbreak my phone since now the only thing that appears on the screen is the 'connect to itune' remark, pls those who know help me

i have tested before, are you saying u are to master reset ur device? i suppose the factory unlock will not dissapear, but once u update and restore via itunes, then only the problem exist

these two solutions are the one i long have been trying to do, but friend i have what they call 'phone book simcard' yes i did put it, but when i take out it goes back to normal... rebooting results the same even if i jb, as if i have to make my way to us, meet at&t and ask them to reactivate my ip...... neway thanks for your reply friend, but my ip still isn't functioning

You might try holding down the power and home buttons at the same time. Wait until you see the silver apple. Thats what I did when mine wouldn't turn back on.

Added on October 4, 2010, 9:52 amIf you are using a third-party iPhone case, make sure it is not covering the microphone or top microphone (iPhone 4 only). Try making some calls without the case to see if a caller can now hear you more clearly.
If you have left the display's clear protective plastic film in which iPhone shipped, either ensure the plastic film does not cover the microphone, or remove the film all together. Hope this helps

bro, this happened when u have overcharged your ip4, try to do the proposed step slowly, don't panick, if this fails u may consider the following step.... try to restore it. Sorry but you'll lose all of your pictures.
There may be time to get it into recovery mode. If you want to do that, turn the phone off, hold the home button and continue to hold it while you plug in your USB cord (don't let go of the home button yet!) and after so long, it should show the "connect to iTunes" screen. And then it should show in iTunes. Then just restore it.

There isn't a way to get it back on without restoring it.

no prob, ip4 i may say is world's best now, take good care of them

no if it is user damaged, but will consider if the phone cracks by itself (wondering how this thing could happen).....

contract bonded and item bonded are two different things totally friend, u are still bonded with the contract means u need to utilize the plan up to 2 years, along the way irregardless of 1 week, months or years if u want to sell the ip4 it is up to u ler

hope ur problem resolved, now here goes new query, those who updated their ip to 4.1 is now having problem since it cannot be jailbroken, but latest i heard it can be now, any experts out there mind to share me the link, really appreciate it, tq

ok, i rephrase my query, how to reactivate iphone ios with 4.1 so that i can use my iphone back, some says i need phone book, already bought it but when i placed the maxis/celcom sim card, it goes back to square one

quite right, but i am using ip4 the result is the same, receive and make calls battery last long, but once starts applications it ate like starving baby haiz

at the moment that is the best solution i guess

this might happen after u have jb right? most ip owners experience it....

not only with iphone other phone also ma, actually it did not minimize, but eh visibility is being reduced far down

actually the issue here is nothing much with the visibility right, the actual one is we now own one of most sophisticated gadget which the developer reserved every right of downloading and uploading. When we have spent so much and the gadget seems to be (not as per expected) then we start to question its reliability and performance haiz, hehe

of course can, sync ur iphone via itune, track all mp3 available (library) and convert it to acc, u are done bro
