dear sifu, i'm using hotlink sim card, not microsim (more than 10-year-old), do you think this is the root cause? I can't use facetime sad.gif
*
unlikely.

i helped my friend to cut her old hotlink sim card using the sim cutter and she has no problem "FaceTime"-ing with me.

i may not know yezhacolic personally, but i can vouch that his main intention over here at LYN is always to lend a helping hand.

ADMIN PLS BAN THIS IDIOT ... ASK ME DOWNLOAD A VIRUS NOW MY PC ALL USB PORT & SOUND CARD CANT DETECT ANYMORE ...

NOW I USING OTHER PC TO TELL ANYONE DON DOWNLOAD AT INSTALL IT !!!

*
besides, if it is indeed a virus, shouldn't you know as a windows user that you should always scan for viruses before opening a downloaded file?

furthermore there is even (typically) a disclaimer/warning from windows itself against such actions.

now who is to blame for that?

but you refuse to spend anything for such a trait?

a little oxymoron ain't it?

by the way, in the tech world, a year is analogous to like forever (let alone two).

new technology emerging alongside stiff competition drive your gadgets obsolete quickier

Still afraid to switch it on, tot like leaving it to dry for the nite.... Has any1 encountered this b4 or r there any advices?

dunk your iPhone completely in dry, unwashed rice grains overnight.

make sure that the rice grains immerse your iPhone completely.

my friend managed to salvage her BlackBerry Bold via this method.

my counter gauge has already broken down (since i started using the first generation).

if i wanna use back my old counter, i might have to add a few more digits to the front of the gauge tongue.gif

QUOTE(huiqing88 @ Nov 2 2010, 06:15 PM)
I wonder if anyone had experienced my iPhone 4 problem:
The second day i purchased my ip4, i went to The Garden's Club lounge with my friend and online there (WiFi) for half day without problem. Few days back, I went there again but the WiFi was unable to connect. My friend's N8, his laptop, my laptop all can connect without a problem, only my ip4 having issue. Once I start the connection, it immediately failed and stated "Unable to connect to xxxxx", don't even see its trying to connect. Even resetting the network in ip4 didn't help. I surfed the net for this issue, and finds that WiFi on ip4 is not compatible with a numbers of brand of router/modem. Wonder what problem is this.

After leaving the lounge, i tried to online at starbucks, mcd, all without problem.

apple products tend to favour WPA instead of WEP.

hate to say this, but you might have a dead iPhone.

this has happened to my 3GS before and i had to swap for an exchange in the genius bar.

backup your 3GS first.

then when you first plug in your iPhone 4, a prompt will shortly ensue.
