ya mine oso have inside the cemera lense..... jst now went to digi centre, they saw scratch and say my warranty not sure can onot. i was so angry i fk the sales representative until her supervisor come out.

she unable to take the picture coz the dust is so small and need proper camera with macro mode. so she promise will mail the apple team and see isit claimable onot.

and when i came home and do some malaysia iphone warranty search, realize they are passing the ball around and you can't find any proper number or email to contact regarding ANY warranty problem. or anyone have some links for malaysia iphone 4 warranty inquiries contact? sorry if previously already posted this issue.

i read the mac forum....and tons of them facing the dust problem too..... mayb the dust goes in thru the mic and speaker's hole or when manufacturing...... if we are in UK or some western country thn we may be allow to swap for new one ( actually not new one as i heard my cousin that staying at UK said...its actually problem set with dust in it b4 and had been swaped and repaired, so when u got ur phone, it doesnt come with box but just simply 2 layer of plastic covering ) ..... so, the advise that i gave to my fren is...... as long as the dust doesn't rlly affect the use of the phone, thn just let it be.btw, u gonna change it after sometimes....and nothing is perfect....

eh...is the iphone 4's glass panel as good as what apple mentioned on the website? what same as bullet train windshield and bla bla bla........ but u see, our car's mirror don't even got a scratch even though u use rough cloth to wipe on it while u washing car...then, u see again...those reports saying that their iphone got scratch in empty pocket or by dust..... dont tell me car's windshield better thn bullet train's ....

Added on October 9, 2010, 11:52 pmomg.... mine gt a white 0.3 cm long dust inside.....stucked.....cant move even i shake......omg....lucky... don't rlly affect the photo....eh...HOW COME IPHONE 4 TRAP SO MUCH DUST HUH???? IPHONE 3G didn't have such prob one la!!!

you got a very good point there NoN@me! if it doesn't effect much, might as well let it be.....won't use the phone for more than 3years..... by the time 3years old, the battery performance already drop 20-30%...

for scratch free glass, only sapphire glass like those they used for expensive watches. even those can get scratched when it receive heavy impact. my watch got a few scratches already, but the impact was very strong that time.

hmm..but what i see, the glass is the inner layer only ler, is it? correct me if i'm wrong. i got a feeling the outer layer is plastic.

the both front and back layer are glass...but dont know which type of glass are they using.... they claimed that it is gorilla glass but some mac forumers said that gorilla glass shouldn't be scratch so easily..... now, what i fedup is the dust between the camera lens and the outer glass( the back panel)...its so long and i afraid it would affect my photo after sometimes.... does maxis allow to change? iphone 4 owners...check n see whether urs got the prob......

What do you mean?..You want to use the facetime feature via 3G network is it?..If yes,you can get an application called Tango..It supports 3G/WiFi network calling for facetime...

Thanks smile.gif

sure....i work as a design engineer. i design consumer products...so my 'checking skills' won't miss that. my glass, the front piece glass....left side of the home button, can see uneven 'glass cutting' defect....like one small bump when look from side... sad.gif i spotted that one when i first look at the phone, but i did not giv a d*mn bout it....

about the camera, confirm its not there when i check it.

i was thinking, if it moved out and in the middle of the lense, i will go claim them again saying my picture is blue-ish, pinkish or red-dish....see how they respond. ahhaha....

dvlzplayground : brother, the dust is inside. between the inner camera lense and outer glass. protector onot, already inside edi. its due to bad assembly inviroment. when assembly the thing, the room should be at least 'semi-clean room' condition. not normal room condition with few hundreed thousand particles flying around.

NoN@me : aiya just say when u check it, its not there, after awhile, it came out lor... ahhaha.. tongue.gif no one to clarify or confirm oso wat...
