It's finally updating for me. From my previous experience with the F2P launch, it will probably be downloading and updating for the rest of the night, till early morning.

I am still getting the error and retry msg

I'm currently at the "Game Update Progress" page.. it just stuck at "Examine Game Data" for some time now.. I hope it will start the update after this..... and not get stuck there forever..

No, should not expect to get in till tomorrow afternoon/evening at the earliest, unless you're lucky.
Just keep your launcher running. There are like thousands of people trying to get on to Turbine's servers right now.

Nope.. false alarm.. the updater just stuck at that screen till this morning.. so restarted the launcher and got the "A connection attempt failed" message.. so I will leave the launcher running and hope everything will be finished by the time I get back home later tonite..

Ok guys. Finally get to log in at 8 A.M. after I left it to retry from 12 midnight last night.

So far so good.

Alrite.. done patching for me.. althou its finished alot faster then I expected.. I would have thought that the client update to be alot larger with the addition of RoI content..

oh.. ok I stand corrected.. the download was big, its just I didnt realize it.. I just saw how big it was while updating on my laptop.. ofcourse having unifi helps..

looks like i need to re-arrange my hunter attack sequence with the introduction of new skills....

also one of the legacy of my hunter 2nd age axe is not usable at the moment due to they move the "improve strength of the earth" to upper level...lol

anyways.. read the change log for champion class.. man.. no shields.. but seems like more changes made to allow the champion to tank better with the glory stance.. hmm.. have to test this out

There are worse places. Forochel is bad since you get ported to a iceberg in the middle of icy water. Giant's Needle in the Misty Mountain is another crazy place haha. I don't recommend drinking from it if you are after the undying title.

Pity i don't have the Moria version of the keg. You get ported around places in Moria.

Have you guys bought the RoI expansion? I have yet to buy mine

I think some has bought already. I myself bought the Legendary edition b4 ROI was launched.

I'm using Win7 64bit Home Premium edition on my Work/Gaming laptop.. its running just fine.. overall Win7 is less trouble prone then its elder brother Vista..
