ISO level only slightly differ,
sharpness at my ametuer eye slighty differ. canon sharp soft, nikon sharp detail.
nikon color is the weak point. canon color more alive i guess. even after PP also canon wins.
nikkor has better lens line up. (dont let canon guys read diz or i die lo)
nikon speedlight has better TTL accuracy and to me i thnk the ambiance is nicer...

i much prefer nikkor button compare to canon (depend on user)

else what more meh? go to shop and hold both body. choose which u more comfy with. image quality wise. almost same at ametuer eyes.

I think the model he wanted is 50D, not 500D ... Imho canon colour is soft while nikon colour is very vivid, good for scenery, canon's colour is better for potrait

He mentioned Canon 50D so to compare with D90, the 50D is bigger in size, heavier, rear dial is useful.

Btw its really the non-technical thing like the size and affordability that most people go to..
Even if they say d90 is like 100 marks and 50d only 5 marks but when u hold both body then u'll know..
No point bringing home the Ferrari Enzo if its not easy to handle, rather buy Toyota Prius instead because the size + features ie hybrid engine..

For me, anything that can work well with me, that's the tool I want..
(That's why decided not to go for GF1 last time cause too small in my hands)

My 3rd party VG oso like dat..
But when I put the battery on the VG itself (not 2 battery, juz 1 batt in the VG) then it'll show full charge battery for both battery but when I put both inside then say lowbatt..
I tried changing the battery position (battery A to battery B's slot and so-forth) its okay..
But now I rarely put both inside..

(: btw ur using Nikon's or 3rd party?

wanna ask ur opinion.. between phottix n octupus, which one have better quality for d90 batt grip? i cant afford nikon one.. are the 3rd parties perform well?

I think if can, save a bit more and get brand new better. Who knows the used set has defects. Well, just in case

if u watching F1 or motogp how to do it ?

F1 I think a bit tougher because got seatings right? But events like Super GT and MotoGP you can move around easier lo.

But the panning effects not so great lah.. because of my angle.. if from side view much nicer, but I got no access to track. No media .

I use a Urban Disguise 35,

D90+grip+70200 mounted, 16-35, 50mm, SB900, a 10inch netbook and small accessories like my batteries, diffuser. xD.

Is trial and error. if you wanna get spinning wheels, slower shutter speed. 1/60s will normally do the work.

Its Super GT rawr~ don't degrade the cars to motor >_< LOL! MotoGP much tougher to shoot according to my friends. The bikes accelerate faster and is much smaller.

My shots are mostly 1/60, with some at 1/30 when I'm dead bored.
