Woolala~ how much for that? I'm thinking to just get a 50mm f/1.4D for low light... or wait for the 85mm f/1.4G... but that 85mm tight framing...

My usual source offering RM4.6k for the lens.. Hmm, pretty good when compared to Canon's 85mm f/1.2L.

Awaiting review from this lens!

Not so sure if the new 1.4g is worth that much over the older 1.4D, the older 1.4D already have very awesome bokeh and sharpness  brows.gif
*
f/1.4D has bad CA control, not sure how this new one deals with CA.

85 is mainly used for portraits... =) and yes...the model and the picture is just awesome! haha...kinda got me inspired! hehe
*
Ho ho, time to save up for it!

QUOTE(FaezFarhan @ Sep 4 2010, 05:51 AM)
Nano Coating will improve the dealing with CA I guess smile.gif
*
Not sure, that is why I'm waiting for a proper review for the new 85mm f/1.4G. RM4600... old one slightly below RM4000... but new one comes with Nano coat. Unlike the 50mm only add in AF-S lol but price went up about the same thing.

Hahaha, thing is I'm a bit skeptical about buying it. Cause shop's in Kuantan, if delivery and anything goes wrong -.-...

Plus to do a review, I don't have a FX and also the older 1.4D for comparison.

Haha, best to wait for the next model. No point buying old model if the new one is around the corner.

Hi everyone,

Is worth waiting for the D90 replacement or just grab the D90?

Please advise.
*
I would suggest to hold back until Photokina to see what Nikon offers for the replacement then only decide.

^ On second thought it seems the D3100 has equivalent ISO performance of D700/D3. Might as well see what D90 replacement can offer!

Was playing with 85mm yesterday and right after that, it caused me insomnia sad.gif

I hate Nikon. Pricing wise below 4.5k brows.gif
Doubt so. Cost also over that already.
*
LOL, the owner indeed posted that way. But then he mentioned due to 'lousy fax quality' so posted wrong price haha~

Yeah international model, very handsome guy.. Was ogling at the shutter sound of D3, so damn loud that we could hear it  shocking.gif
*
Haha, the shutter sound solid right? It closes back really fast! D700 and D300 using the D3 batt or use 8AA battery also sound like that.

Oh, I thought D300s is quite quiet haha. D700 and above is perfect  cry.gif

Got silent mode, but that's just slowing down the shutter speed mah LOL.

If you see D300s and D700 using the AA pack, sound more solid than usual!
