What do you guys think about D7000 handling? I feel D90 handling is still slightly better than D7000, well, maybe it's just me.
*
Never got the chance to hold a D7000 yet sad.gif, but I reckon the D7000 would have better grip instead... the grip is rubberized like the d300 and above right? The D90 is just the back got rubber, the rest all plastic.

Trust me. It won't be that high.
I got a very reliable source from one of the staff that the street pricing is below 3.8k.
*
Quite reasonable if it is RM3800 for body only.

I think can try the D7000, from the specification, it is more superior than D90 from every aspect!
*
Definitely, the D7000 is better in D90 in all aspects... everything improved!

Wanna to ask you guys~Is that necessary to attend basic photography course?I got a friend who told me if you don't attend any basic course, you cant manage to play well?

I wondering whether attend photography basic course or not....aiks =(

I started 1 year ago and I've not attended any basic photography course. Just read online a lot, there's many guides out there and basically shoot more. You will get the hang of it.

I said one of the best tongue.gif, 17-55 f/2.8 to me is like different league from the 16-85.. constant f/2.8 versus variable aperture.

Deng, i just wonder why Nikon did not include nano crystal coating on 50mm lens zzz
*
Cause the 50mm not good enough to be a pro lens? tongue.gif Or maybe they are developing a 50mm f/1.2G N tongue.gif

24-120 f4 not sharp also what. Probably worse if compare to 50mm.
Why that lens can have Nano coating then sad.gif
*
No idea, but the 50mm is just sub par lens among 50mm primes. LOL.

QUOTE(ifaaan @ Nov 3 2010, 10:05 PM)
hey cel, what's your honest opinion on the 70-200 f/2.8 VRII ?

Is it worth the trouble of carrying a heavy lens or would you have rather used multiple single focal lengths with fast aperture instead?

but as i see it, lenses like 85 f/1.4G is already RM5k >< seems like the 70-200 is more worth it.

thanks!

Added on November 3, 2010, 10:06 pmor anybody who uses or used the 70-200 please feel free to say what's on your mind. biggrin.gif
*
Can't comment much, I only have a little 50mm f/1.8D prime lens. The other 2 are zoom lens. I like the flexibility of 70200 f/2.8 and especially the low light capability with VR, but although can hand held at slow speed, but can't freeze action well which is why I'm considering a low light lens, 85mm f/1.4G.

QUOTE(FaezFarhan @ Nov 3 2010, 10:17 PM)
Based on celciuz's previous pictures, I would say it's awesome! The sharpness, contrast and etc. But I don't own one so I can't say much smile.gif
*
Sure, these lens won't disappoint you... it is one of the trinity after all biggrin.gif.

QUOTE(ifaaan @ Nov 3 2010, 10:33 PM)
hahah. yeah, his pictures really do give the 70-200 a good image. seriously considering the 70-200 as i really can't think of any other lenses that can meet my needs. thanks! biggrin.gif
*
70200 is a more flexible compared to primes. Downside? Heavier!
