Hellow~ Not trying to be a cheesy thread, but I don't see that many female SC2 players out there?

I'm sure there are plenty, but you ladies going to show your face? smile.gif

Don't think female gamers are so rare nowadays, but once I played 3v3 with random people over Bnet, I said hi to everyone, and someone asked if I was a girl (Cuz my username is so obvious)

I replied yes, and he was like "HI!!! biggrin.gif"

Lol... I thought these doesn't happen so much nowadays...

havent meet a female Starcraft 2 player personally yet, but i do know a couple of L4D female players

just curious, would it hurt if we requested a sneak peek at your pic to affirm your claims?

you can blur a portion of your face, as long as we can see its a girl will do

we get faggots that go gay around gaming community sometimes
*
Good try to get my pic posted lol...

I don't need to make you guys believe I'm a girl if you don't, only G.I.R.L. will try that hard lol...
And even if I put up a pic and blur the faces, how sure are you that is me? Maybe I took my sister's photos or some random girl online?

Speaking of "confirming" my identity, someone with the nick "scarface" - from LYN msged me on Bnet just now haha...

SERIOUSLY lets go straight to the point... TS, we all WANT to know you HOT or not??

HOT chicks playg STARCRAFT .... awesome!!
*
Soli, just average looking... ^^;;

And I'm just a bronze league-er, nothing great.

Just surprised to find that there are so few female players out there, although some people we can't really tell if they're male or female in-game.

IRL I know another 2 female SC2 players, but the rest of them are all male.

Girls are scary...
You teach them the build, they can just follow it to the dot...
Before you know it, they build even faster than you.

Works great when playing against AI.
Paiseh end up girl defend and win the game instead...

I need to find a hole to hide...
*
My bf also commented that I always stick to the build plan, however when it comes to changing tactics, I'm a little slow to react.

Maybe like you said, good for defense la.

I played in league before too, really kelam kabut ^^;;

Haha yea that's true though.
They can't really play vs player cause when they get harrassed, they don't know how to adapt.

But still good enough for 2v2 or 3v3 teams.
As long as they can build fast enough to attack together, can already haha.
But then never really tried vs player with them before, have always been stuck to vs ai. sweat.gif

If you're not sharing an account with your bf, then ask him to 2v2 together with you.
As long as both of you can build really fast and rush the opponent, in your case with either a void ray or a colossus in your army, you should be able to wipe out one opponent quite easily, then just clean it up. tongue.gif
*
Yea me and bf played 2v2 league, got bronze league only lol... 3 wins 2 losses.

Lost to a team of really good terran players and another one a good zerg (his partner cabut but he was good enough to take the two of us)

For 1v1 I've only played 1 game, won but, quite "kanchiong" to wana try another one tongue.gif

It's called working together smile.gif

Offense + defense

That's what we do, I'm protoss and he's zerg. Protoss defenses and zerg rushes are good combo.

Just like the hybrid? Lol...

but if ur opponent goes for reaper + bunker rush... especially versus 2 terran players. That zerg / you are pretty much dead since u r going for tech and zerg cant do anything against double reaper rush... adaptation~~!~!~!~~~
*
That's one of the league games we lost lol... the other team was siege thanks bunkers reapers...

We could probably do better but it's mostly lack of experience on my part, methinks.

Can enlighten me how to attract my wife to play SC2? she is pro dota (pawn me always) facepalm.... and have a clan last time with some kids.

Now she is busy with her study but still occasionally play dota to relax (killin rage is her thing)

Last time i teach her play, more like force but when i tried explain RTS she dont like the idea gg is winning, she just take it as leaver like in dota which she gets a lot and hate it.

All this brain whacking thinking, watching replay and learning counters seems a hassle.  any idea how to lure her in? if she is in i can play longer without the need to go shopping happy.gif
*
Show her the game and teach her, she'll like it smile.gif Since she is already a gamer herself.

That's how I poison some of my friends to join SC2.

Don't say I didn't warn you about me being just average looking, don't get disappointed over nothing.

And to those who added me over SC2, thanks but I prefer to only add those that I know in real life. smile.gif

The campaign itself is worth it though, not to mention you also get to play the co-op, challenges and whatnot. biggrin.gif

should we persist on gaining a better view of the person? whistling.gif

anyways, TS delivured, +1, she won the internet

but srsly TS, female players are RARE for games like SC2

maybe RO, Maple Story etc etc....(my cousin sister plays Maple)

might as well just join in the clan and enjoy the game without throwing the sex label everywhere

as you can see, most gamers are sensitive towards sex topics (other threads kinda died at 3rd pg while urs reached 7+? lolwut?)

some say it spoils the fun you might get, some say you might just enjoy the ride
*
Yes, one can definitely play without throwing the gender label, however my point in this is to promote SC2 to more female gamers.

Like you said, a lot of them play WoW, Maple and RO, but they seldom play RTS games like these, and I find that they are missing out a lot!

I definitely do not need the "extra help" or whatever "perks" from other players for being a female gamer. smile.gif
That's totally not the reason when I look for my fellow female gamers.

Female gamers need to give this a try, it will definitely open up more options for female gamers and it will be less rare to actually see them on SC2.

i think account sharing isnt illegal rite as long as you dont both online at the same time.
*
That wouldn't be as fun compared to if both of them play at the same time and 2v2-pwn the other players!

And achievements are more fun if you obtain it yourself.

Quaz should get his sister a copy!! tongue.gif

Or she can get one herself~

Starcraft 2 will take off if we get all the girls cosplaying and modeling in events to play this game. However I think this is impossible as girls are not wired to play these kinda logical, planing and fast reaction game. Thats why social games and leveling up games like WoW and RO are more appealing to them.

I hope that you find yourself lots of friends in Starcraft 2 and ultimately form the 1st girl team in Malaysia for RTS, and what better RTS is there to start than the most popular RTS of all Starcraft 2. notworthy.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif

I really like your attitude and spirit towards this game.  rclxms.gif  thumbup.gif
You make me sad by talking bout Her---->Seo Ji-Soo again  cry.gif
laugh.gif
Thats the thing for girls, they try to get all these achievements items pets for games. For guys the mindset is to try to execute their special moves or strat on the opponent that have not been seen, or the best micro in which all these could not be in the achievements because you can not create some thing that isnt available yet.

Still I hope you and your female friends will continue to play this game for a long long time to come. Keep it up.  smile.gif
酷い鬼いさん tongue.gif lol
*
Hahaha, yeah you're right, I guess I AM playing like a girl, but mehh... smile.gif At least I'm enjoying it.

酷い鬼いさん <-- Do you mean お兄さん?

鬼いさん = Mr. Ghost tongue.gif

It's not a word play when there is い in 鬼いさん, I think he really meant お兄さん.

If he calls you 鬼さん then I would say it's word play. smile.gif
