i cannot find client.ovpn on winxp, where is it located at ?

edit:- found the file, it only appear after "your Freedom" had started once.

i seriously need abit more info on this.

1) freedom is giving me this error, are you sure openvpn is installed? (for my case its installed, i try running freedom first then openvpn same msg, then i tried openvpn first only run freedom still same msg)

2) another freedom error is "cannot write config file c:\documents and settings\user\.ems.cfg"

3) when over the last steps where i choose to share the internet connection on the TAP-Win32 adapter, im suppose to choose my Local Area Connection as the private network selection right? if i do that it gave me an error saying somethings like the IP address is being used.

the last few part of the guide isnt very clear, i would also like to know do i just leave all the network adapters with auto IP? or i have to set manual ip for my xbox & the TAP-Win32 adapter? kinda confuse here if some 1 could clear this up.

I was using Win 7 and did not encounter the issues you mentioned.. actually i also ran into few problems.. had to read the guides on freedom website to get better explanation.

regarding your Q3, it depends what is your source of internet connection, it could be Wifi (my case), or maybe u are using LAN line.

my was :

modem/router broadcasting wifi --> Desktop with wifi usb --> desktop lan cable --> xbox

so my source of internet was wifi.

yeah my source is also wifi, same like yrs, but im using a laptop atm.
so im suppose to choose wireless connection as the private network selection during Network Sharing?

if i choose wireless, it will auto set my wireless IP to 192.168.0.1 then i will lose connection to the internet. as 192.168.0.1 is my router IP

im also still having this error "are you sure openvpn is installed?"

now to help the others, you had to make sure your local wireless connection doesnt run on the IP "192.168.0.*" or else the internet connection sharing doesnt work. thats because when you do the ICS it will set the lan adapter to 192.168.0.1.

over the Xbox you had to set manual IP same range as 192.168.0.* gateway is 192.168.0.1 same goes for primary DNS.

i manage to connect to HK server, but i wasnt allow to purchase. so i think i need to connect to SG server for it to work, but bcoz i connect to SG server i got the above error "Connection to host ems21.your-freedom.de failed, proxy denied connection: 590 Cannot connect to **.***.**.*** port 443" so im kinda stuck here, if u guys know whats wrong let me know im like 99% done.

I think sometimes the SG server is not available. You might have to wait until the SG server has "yes" on it.

well when i scan the server it shows YES, funny things is i tried HK it works... just SG doesnt so i guess i have no choice to just wait.

could you pls try yours see if it works now ? just to confirm

so what now? i havent even get my Case 0 purchased with the region lock problem, now another Case West?

hoping this DLC is not IP lock..

well if we cant get case 0 whats the point getting case west? they should have not region lock the game since they dont lose anything.

its so difficult to even buy somethings with $.

and lastly when this DLC available on LIVE, Im hoping the Case 0 also temporary available for download again.. gonna act fast la that time..

Well for those who did not manage to get case 0 due to IP lock, i think capcom will release a "gold edition" or "alternate edition" later.. just like Resident Evil 5. so be cool

Yes, you can't go wrong with zombies.

Seems like there's a bug in the game where if you save while playing coop, it pretty much always disconnects.

Loading game is long. Saving however takes only a few seconds for me.
