everybody here is gonna miss this cause if you don't have Singapore IP, you wont be able to download it.

but problem is i already got the demo on the first day, i get to play the demo now, just cant purchase it ...

Finally I found to ways to download it and purchase from M$
But it required to have to 2 connections
(i.e. laptop connect to xbox via Lan and laptop connect to wireless modem Via WIFI.)

1.Go to your-freedom.net to download the software from them.- http://www.your-freedom.net/index.php?id=downloads

2.Register account at there, it’s free.

3.Download openvpn.- http://openvpn.net/

4.install both software…After that, Open the “your freedom” software.

5.After done wizard, open the “openVpn Client”, then Go to “C:\Users\XXXX”Double click the “client.ovpn.



Make sure the setting at “your freedom” is same like mine, and the “client” connection is appearing on the “openVpn” software.



After that, go to network connections (im using windows 7), share the TAP-Win32 to network user.

I assume you know what to do next…

Tip… if u can download until 99% with Malaysia IP and error appear. Don’t delete the file keep it… Continues download or purchase it with other country IP.
(i.e. I’m using SG account so I complete my download with SG IP.)
Because of the “your-freedom.net” offer free account so the max speeds is 64k…

alright for the first part, we need a twisted network cable for our xbox to connect to our laptop? or the network cable that comes with the xbox would work? while doing that our laptop's wireless connection connects to the internet?

im just use normal cable (not from xbox) to connect my xbox to my laptop(inspiron 1420) it work fine. ya u can connect to internet while doing tat or after tat notthing wrong with it.

I am using office laptop and can't share the network.. but already successfully completed other steps. will try to source another laptop to do this.

i have not done this my self, but you should try both type of network cables. straight through cable and a crossover cable (aka twisted pair cable).

after reading many reviews from the net.. I decided to wait for the actual game to purchase. 400 pts for a demo... I think its not worth for me(M$ is not friendly to MY players too). This is some kind of bad practice... charging player's $ to paid for a demo.

demo is free.

full game is 400 points.

I have downloaded and started playing the full Case 0 game!!

Its a lot of hassle and i had to buy a RM62 USB Wifi adapter ... but it's worth it. Great game.

I foresee I will play it again and again until the main game comes out. I have completed the game 4-5 times but still yet to try out everything.

hmm i forgot to ask, what about the IP for the xbox? we gonna set it manual following the the laptop or just set it auto?

I connect the xbox to my laptop/pc by changing the network setting to

xbox -> PC

i think im stuck at step 5

my wizard scans for freedom server never ending. so i dont see any client.ovpn file...

im on winxp btw.

Also, managed to download Dead Rising 2 and another on-demand game.

1. Connected Xbox to Laptop via standard Ethernet cable (not crossover)
2. Bridged Lan (Xbox) to Wireless LAN
3. I set up VPN (I used paid VPN for faster speed)
4. Configured VPN to allow access to my bridged network

And it worked.
