Hi all... it seems that Kabal is back... I saw a video of an interview with ed boon with kabal gameplay at the background.

I played the demo and all I can say is WOW, its truly MK going back to its root. As this is the E3 2010 demo, not much can be said as I know there will be some intense revamping of the game till now.

I'm really looking forward to play online with local friends here...

I did not hold the block button to perform any fatalities in this game. For scorp's stage, I just jump towards the opponent, and while he is jumping, I input the code >, >, ^, square. Works every time.

For the mileena's fatality, input the command after you have completed your jump. Or rather wait for a few seconds after the jump.

To put it simply.

stand directly next to opponent, jump back, wait 1 second, <, >, <, >, Triangle.
it should work I think.

Sadly for this demo there are no stage fatalities for the living forest stage (confirmed)

I really think that xbox going to get Ryu Hayabusa from ninja gaiden. Being he's more skillful martial artist who could hold his own against hundreds of enemy and ain't shy to chop off some heads, hands, legs etc...

Kratos, as this is not his first appearance in a fighting game, I think they would copy some (if not all) his moveset from Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny. And I think one of his fatality would involve him using the Blade Of Olympus. Check the video out to imagine about how you would combo and do fatality using the spartan...

Hi there friends... just want to inform you, a person in another mk forum I went to, claim that he was lucky to play the full game before it come out.

Here are some of the info he shared with us, not to be trusted 100% though... but its a good thought to be had nonetheless..

- smoke is human in this game. this is because the storyline changes as raiden saved smoke from becoming a cyborg and it is the younger sub zero that got captured and turned to cyborg

you can block the grab move if it is done when you are on the ground
but if it is done out of an air juggle, it is unblockable (you can get the noobs, but I reckon it would take more than that to fight a pro
But rest assured, after the grab, you can either jump or duck, uppercut, then follow this method below if you're using scorp

friendship and babylity is confirmed for the final game. Dunno about Brutality though. I think Ed Boons gonna make us pay for the fatalities DLC.

I remembered the first time I fought cyrax, I thought he was scorpion changed to cyborg...

when he threw out a grenade just in front of him I said meh, that's stupid, then the net came and brought me to the bomb, while this is happening, he threw another bomb at the back, after launching me with the first bomb, he gave me a roundhouse to the second bomb, which launched me again, then the air throw... man... from that day, I never looked at him the same way again....

then the fatality where he blow up the earth, I mean literally...

Added on March 29, 2011, 9:07 amI remembered playing MK2 when I was in primary school, I got some friends telling me that you can fight 3 secret character in the game. Smoke, noob saibot and jade. I was so hype up... ya lor, that was the first game I had with secret characters. Back then where got internet connection, so the information (how to unlock the fight) I had was from a chinese gaming magazine. Good times, good times

yeah, dial-a-kombo was one of my favourite kombo execution style, you don't need timing, just remember the button sequence

I am buying this game the day it comes out, so I won't be bothered.

Anyway, its just a system. If you want to sell your MK off, you might as well sell the online pass along, the username and password. Not like you'll be playing with it as you have already sold the game. Just a suggestion.

Unless, the online pass is attached to your PS3, then that's just plain evil from their side...

I have to disagree with that , MK and Street Fighter is on their own league though in the same category , if you delve deeper into both, you will find that the dynamic and the execution of the two are different.

I respect your opinion , but IMHO in no way any of them is better than the other.

If you preorder from gamestop.com (but they don't deliver to malaysia) you get the retro scorpion outfit and fatality dlc

If you preorder from amazon.com, you'll get retro reptile scorpion outfit and fatality dlc

If you preorder from bestbuy (i think) you'll get retro sub zero outfit and fatality dlc

I preordered from play-asia.... it stated that I will get one retro ninja outfit but didn't say which one...

BTW, you pre ordered the Kollector's Edition?

same here, well then I think we'll both be spending our time with the standard version of the game...
