I believe the price would be from RM185 - RM200 for R3 or R1. R1 would be more expensive than R3

for me its worth every penny I have for gaming, and currently its the standard edition

hehe, I never played MK on a fightstick before... very tempting... but even SF4 couldn't get me to change to fightstick...
about the stick, the design is cool, I mean, you could store many things in the compartment and if it comes with a sling or lach, you could carry it around as a bag. Mobile gamer FTW! Does ipad fit in there I wonder. if it does, then you can review and study your strategy before the game by watching videos, reading some info about your adversary and so forth...

I wish the MK dial-a-combo would return and make life easier to combo.. hehe..

My past experience on the recent MK game. Mortal Kombat vs DC universe, the online is region lock. Meaning fighters from R1 games cannot fight with R2 and R3 fighters, R2 cannot with R1 and R3, and R3 cannot fight with R1 and R2.

This may or may not change in this new game. But anyways, I'm getting both version, R1 and R3. If it is region locked, I'll use them both, R3 to fight local player and R1 for the fast DLC release. If its not region locked, you'll see my thread WTS Mortal Kombat (R3) here in Lowyat...

that's exactly why I opted for R1, but we won't be able to play together with R3 owners....

the online pass is given free with a new copy of the game. Can only be redeemed by 1 PSN account. If you bought a second hand version of the game, chances are you need to buy a new Online Pass @ USD19.99...

Anyone of R3 users have checked on SG or MY PSN for this code?

Online Pass:
The pass is given free for a new purchase of the game. However, here's a look at the release of the R1, R2 and R3 regarding the online pass.

R1 - The code comes with the game. Mine is on a card inside the case along with DLC costume code. Maybe need to redeem online as I saw some options in the menu to redeem codes.

R2 - The code comes with the game.

R3 - There is some drama confusion for this release... here's the update (Ascending to latest)

19-April-2011: Customer who bought the R3 version not getting their Online Pass. Seller oso don't know I think as the game is sealed and the online pass is supposedly inside the case.

20-April-2011: The online pass should be available next week FOC, please ask your seller for it, thanks Alex for clarification.

22nd-April-2011 Some of the seller are giving the online pass to their customer today (FOC). One such as rocket_jet

23rd-April-2011 Some of the buyers get their Online Pass along with their copy of the game. The pass is sticked outside the box. Meaning that we can for the time being confirm that the R3 version does not ship with the Online Pass, the seller needs to make some effort in getting the code.


The Online Pass Definition
On layman's term, first hand, got online pass (R1 and R2 inside case, for R3 ask your seller for it) second hand, no online pass, needs to buy currently at us psn store @ USD19.99

Different from DC Online Universe, where it is subscription based and you need to renew every month or year, for Mortal Kombat, as of current, the developers said that it is only one time charge, USD19.99 for 1 user and that's it, no need to pay anymore.

For the best region to buy, my past experience with MK vs DC Universe, the online is region lock, meaning if ur copy is region 3, you cannot play with your friends who has Region 1. This could change for this new Mortal Kombat, or not... And to top of the damage, the MK vs DC universe save file is different for each region. I ended doing the Kombo Challenge for each character all over again

maybe you should buy the region that ur friends are buying... but bear in mind however, this game is heavily based on DLC, and we all know that MY and SG PSN is abit slow on the update side....
