btw, about last night game, we win 3-0 but still not the best game, maybe because our team doesnt have much time to prepare for the match smile.gif

Osasuna President said Barca should be grateful because they didn't challenge Barca's win because of the late kickoff. LOL. If they even lodge a complain I doubt RFEF and LFP will even hear it, since RFEF has admitted that they indeed has informed Barca about the postponement. Pep said in media conference that should they be decisive from early on, the team would have taken the train in the morning. There was a B plan to travel by train at 9 am that day. RFEF truly screwed the game up. Or is it real that there is still Francoist influence in RFEF? laugh.gif

well i think the 3 deserved it, after their showing on international stage, as well as for barca (international performances weighs more this time coz of FIFA10). Maybe players like Ronaldo can also easily make it to the final 3, but the 3 Barca man cant be said to not deserve it as well. But at the end of the day, i think it is pretty obvious on who will get it wink.gif

I hope so rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif I always hope a CM like Xavi, Pirlo or Scholes win it. Most probably that day will come soon. thumbup.gif

But ultimately its a win for our La Masia.

Now shall this thread be the temporary Balon d Or thread? laugh.gif

perhaps.

I just hope Xavi to win it. It will be unjust if Iniesta win it just because his goal (eventho i like him).
If we wanna count overall performance over 2010, then its Messi. But this is WC year. Cannavaro got the award on 2006, Ronaldo 2002, Zidane 1988.

1. Xavi
2. Messi
3. Iniesta

As a barca fan i couldn't be happier to know that the 3 best player is playing for the team i love..

But IMHO sneijder should be at least worthy to be top 3.. Cut him some slack guys, he led inter to the treble and was part of the WC finals, and a joint top scorer too..
Yet still Xavi is going to win it so, hardly any damage done i guess..
Iniesta has been playing some breathtaking football but he was sidelined a good half of the year..so

1 xavi
2/3 messi/sneijder

will be more fair..just my 2 cents..
i still love barca tongue.gif

it is the third time that three players from the same club will finish as the best three footballers of the year after the great Milan side of the late 80’s completely dominated proceedings in the 1988 and 1989 editions of the Ballon d’Or. marco van basten, ruud gullit, frank rijkaard and franco baresi..

cngrtz barca =)

Sneijder could've been picked, but as pyroboy said, there's not so much to dispute either. Xavi as we know have been pulling strings for both Barca and Spain not only 1 year, but for the past several years, consistently. Iniesta's season was marred by injuries, but otherwise his season was also good, especially for this term, and his WC. Messi, well, considering how legends and fellow professionals have been hailing him for the past year or so, no wonder that so many voters picked him, like VDB.

However, the downside of our all conquering nomination is, there are no significant discussion on the internet. Feels like the award has been reduced to "Barca d Or", and only Cules are interested to took part in the debate, not even the writers/journalists doh.gif

B team players showed the seniors how to beat Kazan tongue.gif

Goals by Fontas and Vazquez. The standout performer was surely Fontas. Others had an OK game. Kazan's usual tactic limited their contributions. Defensively though, the team was a beast.
