I think Pep did a mistake when he replaced Villa with Keita. At 1-0, it was hardly safe situation to start concentrating on containing Arsenal. When they score the equaliser, we had no way to gain back the lead, as we have already lost the shape. After they score 1 more goal, Pep desperately sent Adriano in. Of course that didn't work.
At 1-0, I think replacing Iniesta (instead of Villa) with Keita would be a better option.

when Puyol schedule to come back? Pique suspended for the return leg right? who's your back up?
Supposedly that will be Milito. But I doubt he will play, due to his lack of fitness. Busquets to fill in Pique's place instead, while Masch will play as DM. This depends on Milito and Puyol's fitness of course.

Again, Albacete was never paid for their work with Iniesta, no matter how big or small that is.
I've done a small research, but gotta admit I could not find story regarding Iniesta's before he came to Barca. Not even in Iniesta's official website. His own history yes, but nothing worth of note in regards of Albacete-Barca relationship or contacts.
So yes one of Barca's youth coach knew his parents.
But please keep in mind that his parents actually registered Iniesta with Real Madrid cantera. Not Barca. Only after that Barca officially signed him. His parent brought him out of Albacete, not Barca. I also don't know how long exactly Iniesta was with Albacete. He came to us when he was 12, I suspect he was with Albacete at most 2 years. At that time the highlight of his career was only impressive performance in a local tournament. Could hardly see he had potential of a future world beater no?
Cesc, meanwhile had been with us for about 6 years, with a very very impressive CV.

I just realised you wrote this. Having watched matches in both countries and as someone who voraciously keeps up with the financial, logistical and regulatory aspects of football, I have to say I think you're dead wrong on your stereotypes.
Barca is run like a business as well. It hires management consultancies (the epitome of corporate-ness) to trim fat, ruthlessly keeps its TV contract individuality (co-operating indirectly with Real Madrid) and has high-cost marketing consultants making it one of the best corporate partnership organisations (named in a European marketing trade magazine which I can't remember the name of).
I think I've wrongly phrased my point. But nvm, that is a whole different topic together.
