That is true. One tick is when the msg successfully delivered to the server. Two tick means the user received the msg on their phone. It doesn't detect whether they user read it already or not, but if the msg is pushed to their phone. One example is there is only one tick because the other user didn't turn on his 3g/data. So the msg stays in the server until he/she turns it on.QUOTE(monked @ Oct 7 2010, 11:20 AM) i re-install a few time already? What do you mean by using it on an iPhone?izzit because i use whatsapp with a iphone b4? which causes "unknown" status? |

But you should be able to use it without paying it again.using the same number ... now change to android ... will that affect the status of my account? dont need to pay yearly? xD |

I see. So how this works? Do i need data connection with this? Installed this just now, and seem like the usual SMS application which is good. But i am wondering whether it will use Data Connection fees.

It's just $0.99 a year.
I use whatsapp because: 1. I have a lot of friends using whatsapp but not pingchat 2. Whatsapp message delivery appears to be more prompt that pingchat at most of the time 3. Account tied to phone number. No need to recontact friends to know their ID. |
