I don't mind paying for the app. It actually saves me a lot of money. My normal sms bill montly - RM60+. Now, RM5-10. biggrin.gif

hey guys, cool that iphone apps are making their way to android and all but how is this different from say, using ebuddy, trillian or gtalk?

Nothing really. Its just a hyped up app that's picking up steam. More and more user are using it.

Wokay... and there's a pricing model attached as well? Hmm.. I already use gtalk as an sms replacement for most of my close buddies..

Ah.. I see it now. As long as you have a person's number, AND that person uses WhatsApp, you basically will be able to add them as a contact on WhatsApp, right? That's pretty cool. Beats having to fish for his/her email like all the other IMs.

Ah.. I see it now. As long as you have a person's number, AND that person uses WhatsApp, you basically will be able to add them as a contact on WhatsApp, right? That's pretty cool. Beats having to fish for his/her email like all the other IMs.

1 thing i like about whatsapp is, when you install, it quickly list down everyone in contact list that have whatsapp. Pretty much all iphone users tongue.gif

developers are viewing Android as a market with huge potential. 1 day...crapple fartapps store will no longer be special lol.

p.s - the digi ifart4 ads in android thread just doesnt make sense =P

I installed it. Good thing is it uses phone number as contacts. No need for manual linking.

Sadly not many are using whatsapp.

Well, I have 10+ but some of them aren't active anymore in whatsapp. Most of them are some contacts that I haven't contacted for long time. laugh.gif

Jz download this app n installed.. Dono y it says not compatible with task manager.. Any guru can help?

Uninstall and install the latest beta version. That should work.

What do you mean not compatible with task manager? Is your task manager terminating it everytime you open the app?

it say whatsapp is not compatible with 3rd party task manager... uninstalled it and finally its works fine... bdw... which task killer do u guys recommend? newbie here... jz getting started...
