woahhh you all getting cream color poodle hor? I saw someone selling female cream std poodle 1.5 years old with RM 500. I think sure got problem de.. but the poodle looks cute hahaha

Maybe get either 1 std or toy 1st after I sent my older maltese back hometown LOL cause I need someone who can entertain autumn. She's a maltese with poodle soul -.-" way too active so I need to get 1 poodle to balance her energy LOL

Chris, if you happen to found someone selling silver toy do inform me k? cause so far I only knew a friend of mine have silver toy and louis? lol

Yours I think it cause by the food. I mean u mentioned that she wont touch her food and quiet picky right? cause I read somewhere that when puppy doesnt get enough protein they wont grow as much as the general weight. More or less same like those puppy who sick at puppy time like pui pui if you know her, she was sick when she's still puppy and now reaching 2 is only 1 kg LOL much more smaller than ur girl. Damn scary... autumn less than 2 I'm already scared this one lagi small

I always wanted a big dog like huskie and pit bull so if I could get nice black stpoodle I'm gonna go for that instead of husky haha

This is why I like small size dog but doesnt reli go for teacup... like debbie thought bout ur Renee, people always thought I starve my autumn to be that small while in fact she's actually FAT but small size only... esp when shower time damn scary~~ the first time I shower her I very syokk cause she looks so SMALL and fragile with wet body LOL

talk bout husky, I like wolf but cannot afford to own one so substitute with husky so yeah.. if can get black stpoodle of course go for that

no comment in bathing cause so far only bath maltese, yorkie and pekingnese lol I thought husky doesnt really need to bath? I mean when the coat is not 'that' dirty generally use wet wipes to wipe the coat?

agree. When it comes to discipline, I wont scare to punish them as they really need to discipline. As for food issue autumn is getting better now thou sometime she still shout a bit not bark but she's getting the hang of it not to make any sound when I prepare food. Last time whenever she saw me prepare her bowl she will shout in high pitch like dog kena torture Good thing is they never beg for food only became a lil exited when they saw me hold their bowl.



This shows that you are not his master, instead he was your master! If you are his master, believe me he wont DARE to bite you even you smack him gao gao. Since you mentions he try to bite you or growl at you = he thinks he is higher rank than you, but y did u dare to punish him? Even if its growl, he shouldn't do that to you cause it shows that he doesnt like you to control him. You really need to establish the 'master' issue with ur dog. Not only you but ALL members of your family has to let him know that he was the follower and your family is the master. If he only accept you alone as his master it wont really affect anything cause whenever you scold him, he will go to the rest of your family and that is not the way to teach him that he was a follower

as for the marking things, have you tried to 'eliminate' the pee/marking smell from it? sometimes when you only mop the pee away the smell it still there and when he smell it again it will trigger him to do another marking

Because he already associate in his brain that if u catch him he must stay inside playpen. My girl last time refuse to stay inside pen and will cried for as long as she's inside playpen. Even at night she will wine until the next morning which made me cant sleep at all. What I did was practically ignore her and teach her the 'IN" command to ask her to go inside the pen herself instead of putting her in. With this she will slowly learn to go in by herself plus now when she know she did something wrong she will go into her pen herself and wont dare to come out until I say so even if I never close the pen.

In your case, you should let him go to his pen himself whenever you go out. Every time when I need to go out I will told them to go inside pen and they will just walk in by herself and no more whining or barking excessively like last time because they know its a ritual that needs to be done. Even when I came they also cannot bark for me to open the pen, its up to me when to let them out and when I open the pen, they must not rush out until I say so. If you could make him at least listen to your command, believe me he is learning to accept you as his master

as for the punishment, make sure not to slap his leg to much later the leg cannot handle. Easiest way to discipline them is with newspaper If my girls do anything wrong I just need to show them the newspaper and they will reflect them self haha If you never use newspaper to discipline him, try to use it from now. Whenever he did something wrong, you hold the paper and smack onto table, wall, or anything that could make 'sound'. They will snap out of what they doing when they heard something surprise them. So do it whenever he did something wrong, occasionally he will then scared of the paper and maybe in the future u also no need so mafan smack him as he might became good like my girl, only see the paper will surrender d haha

That fella just bring back his puppy back so I don't think its because of that plus I think he mentioned before the dog doesn't really want to drink water rite? If not mistaken haha

btw, bout falling down, did you see anything changes from your puppy after the accident? sometimes they just get a shock from falling down and will shout like in pain but after awhile they'll forget about it and be active again.

Autumn also fell down before from those shop counter while I visits my friend's shop, after the accident she shout at me with pointing eyes saying that I was the one who's at fault for letting her to fall down then her lower body a bit paralyze due to the shock but after awhile she's back to her usual self and the only consequence about it is she scare of height LOL Second accident happen when she tried to climb out from her pen and fell down with the same behavior but now she's pro in climbing out (when I'm not around) and climbing back in when I'm back as if nothing is happen

When I took care friend's poodle puppy for awhile, he also fell down from toilet bowl to the floor with same behavior, shouting and shock but after few mins he's back in his notti self -.-"

So I guess, you shouldn't be worry too much I say this because when I first get autumn I'm really those beginner that everything must follow text book and if anything happen should seek a vet. But after sometimes, I gradually know what to do in some situations hahaha


Webbit got only face and tail wor, how come it took so long to comb his hair? Even autumn not combing for few days to a week no problem finish grooming in few minutes...

Autumn was a maltese outlook but poodle inside cause she's the most active maltese that I've ever met LOL Dunno how she store those energy inside her small lil body -.-' while Jasmine is pretty lady like in anything except FOOD She looks like maltese in long coat but when cut short she looks like a poodle. They're pro in making those 'puppy-eyes'

some tea cup can reach up to 1.5-2k+ it depends with colors also if not mistaken. But believe me you shouldn't get a teacup if u are 1st time owner as getting a teacup basically means u're getting a "human baby" cause you need to be nearly 24 hours watching it. By mini poodle you refer to miniature poodle or "mini-size" poodle?

Miniature poodle => the Height should be around 11-15 inches (28-38 cm) but some will grown slightly bigger or smaller and the weight would be around (7-8 kg)

Tea cup cost more expensive than toy and the cost of taking care of them also not cheap. Tea cup more fragile and much more smaller so if you don't have any experience, getting tea cup on ur 1st try is a no for me. But if you still want to have tea cup it's ur choice then

I do love small dogs but tea cup is not on my list now as I have yet to have the 'money/expenses" to own one and commitment to be there 24 hours a day. Maybe when I think I do have the experience and the guts to have a tea cup I might get 1 my self but I still prefer poodle with long legs.

Tea cup cost more because its a "T-cup" and it used to be not son much in the market but now you can see some ppl are selling t-cup poodles now.

Actually poodles has different traits? It depends on what type of 'traits' you want for your poodle. If you prefer those teddy bear face/cut you should go for poodles with short muzzle and short/long legs? but if you want to have continental cut you should go for poodle with long muzzle and long legs. I my self prefer long muzzle with long legs


Tiny toy poodle is just a terms to call a toy poodle that is slightly smaller than the normal toy

You mentioned before poodle is not easy to find in Sarawak right? The expensive cost might be because of that reason. People tend to high up the price of some specific breeds cause its hard to find.

Actually I think you should find poodle on Sarawak better. You see lets say the poodle cost 2k but you can bring the puppy back to ur house without any problem. But if you buy from KL with the price 950 + procedure to bring back to Sarawak + quarantine, in the end it might cost u even higher than 2k and you might need to be careful as well cause flight-in a puppy+quarantine will eventually make the puppy to be so stressful.

So which one you want to choose?

Make sure you slowly intro him to the other dogs. If you just let him be with other dogs w/o proper introduction it will make him became more scared or trauma later. Imagine you are scared of wolfs and your family bring you to the zoo and ask you to play with the wolfs, how would you feel? Just an example ya... dun slap or kick later The easiest way to intro him to his own kind is by letting him smell other's dog butt first. It might boost his confidence when he realize that he gets to smell their butt before they smell his

Actually smelling butt means introduction and get to know the others well. Its the same as when an aggressive dog doesn't let others dog to smell their butt cause in their mind, they're the alpha so by right they have the right to smell others dog butt but no one can smell his. In this case, since debbie mentioned that Dorian is a bit timid and maybe un-socialized as in he never really go out meet others dog, let him to be the 1st to smell other's dog butt is a way to let him know that it's okay and not to be scared. If his butt was gave out 1st to let other dogs smell, eventually when the dog get the idea that Dorian was timid, it will gave the vibe that its okay to bully him and Dorian will get more scared and trauma.

I dont' disagree with you cause what you were talking about is normally happen to dogs who are in the state of dominance and excited, when they get to smell others dog butt it will made them more excited and give out the smell of "dominance" which sometimes cause the dog to be erected

Anyway this is just a friendly advice from me. It doesn't need to follow if you have your own way thou

I think it supposed to call "liver nose'? haha there are many causes for the colors thou. Some will born in that way but some will face from black to liver/so-called-pink-nose when one getting older or doesn't get enough sun. My 3 years old maltese who's nose starting to fade color is now sun-tanning everyday in my room xD purposely open the window big big let the sun came in to sun bathing them haha
