today when i went to a music store at sungai wang... i somehow noticed a fake epiphone over there.. = =.. and therre also sells alot of SX..

The best is test the guitar yourself , if the guitar speaks to you ,and it sounds good . It doesn't matter whether it is China , Korea , Mexico , Japan or USA .

icve been told there are 2 kinds of basswood , the high grade ones that you see in prestige models and the low end ones you see in cheap rgs. but i hate basswood anyway lol

MIM is said to have a two pc body, some say even more. what it makes to tone that i cant really judge, personally fenders are fenders, they are good but to tell a MIJ,MIM,MIA from tone is hard. some MIM's are brilliant, some MIJ's are mouth wateringly good just as some MIA's seem like "wat"

Yeah, I hate when people says it is not American, then it's no good,
definitely there are a good Korea, Mexico, Japan, Indo and China,
but there is difference between quality control,
I would say America and Japan are excellent,
Korea and Indonesia are good,
China are decent,

but hey, that's why you have to play it first,
the same guitar can have different feelings and tone
even if it feels right to me, doesn't mean it suits others
that what makes hunting a guitar enjoyable

btw, i dont care if the person also sells originals...once they step into the fake market category they are forever branded in my mind as sellers of fakes.

here's one more seller in KK, Sabah. Hollywood Music Store. They got a few FAKE Fender and Gibby. selling around RM500-RM2k+ they told me they are fakes but still, they sell fakes. just a warning for anyone going to Sabah.
