attach with bank slip or receipt of the banking to the fella its priority to help ur's to dig out the fella.

How can you just easily bank in RM1800 to a guy who doesn't have any succesful tradelist?

put up his name and account number or else how can we all help.

If you really want your money back, you have put some effort such as lodging a police report. Follow up closely this con case with the police. Never under estimated police report because that's one of the best solution for you to catch the scammer.

Same advise, lodge a police report first. With a police report, you have a better chance to dig out more information.

Scammer trying to make fancy looking logo just to give impression that they are legitimate. Got to watch out for that.

I will say greed is the reason TS got conned.

Sure, we all want cheap stuffs. But we also need to know with cheap things come problems like faulty item, fake item, scam and so on. Someone who is not so greedy will most probably do his homework. Browse around and compare and so on. Especially when people warn you about the sales being suspicious. You still bank in the money to that person without making precautions? That is not only greedy but downright stupid.

Compare to a real life situation, when you made a mistake (something unintentional). Sure, no point blaming you cause the damage already being done. But does that means your parents will not scold you? Does that means you are not to be blamed for doing something wrong even though you did not intentionally do it? Despite getting warned from parents to be careful? After made the mistake then only ask help from parents? Isn't that being ignorant and stupid? I think you get the point.

To TS, read more on other dispute threads, you will get the idea what to do and how to get the conman. This is most probably third party scam.

For the record, not all sellers who do trades using postage are bad. I always do my deals through postage. Just last week I posted an E72 to Nilai, and arrived with perfect condition. For postage deals, get as much information as you can from the dealer. If he is clean, he will have no problems telling you.

y we dont do this

buyer from johor ask help from any lowyat member from penang
then ask the penang's member to meet with the seller
the two of them can go to post office together and the member can be a watchmen if the seller try to con the buyer

Guys, there is a possibility that the person THEN WAI LEK might just be a victim of 3rd party scam.
Most seasoned scammers will use third party scam because its harder to trace, and most scammed victims will be chasing the wrong person, while the real scammer is out loose, scamming others.

If you dont know what is third party scam, please read up about it. It has been discussed here many times.

I think the conman created many acc and then post it here to blame then wai lek, who knows? LOL there's alot possibilities out there..

i have just conned rm400 by THEN WAI LEK.
i didnt manage to come to this page because I just started using this forum.
Besides that, he personally called me to tell me what he wanted to sell.
He even told me his personal problems such as want to buy iphone 4 for girl friend then need money. He was selling iphone 16gb 3gs for rm800 to me.

I still have the bank slip. i banked in money a few hours ago. but will the police really go and find him out? According to THEN WAI LEK, he said police will not interfere with online transaction. anybody here boss of a gang group? can you please do me and many others a favour by hunting him down?

I have no money to eat for a few months to come. I know it is my fault. but he really seemed real. He said he is from penang and even named out my friends. He said his previous school was Saints Xaviers. I dont know how true is that. Im very depressed right now.

as LYN members stated, too many " NEW " member claim themselves was conned by Then Wai Lek, and i personally msg some of them and request for the polis report, few weeks gone, no 1 show me the polis report, LOL.... i have to do this work myself. update no need prove here, just do whatever i can.
