Basically, we need 3G APN settings in order to received/send MMS.

Well, you can do so by using Wifi. Make sure u have the MMS APN setting (3G APN setting no need).
Connect to Wifi connection, then go to your Inbox and download the MMS.

Currently I'm at my hometown so got no Wifi yet to test. The Wifi idea sounds great mate! Thanks! .. The problem that bothered me was "kredit kena telan". So I might try LEVIATHAN suggested which disabled those widget and background data and set it to update manually.

So I'm gonna keep my both Celcom 3G APN & Celcom 3G MMS in my phone setting after my celcom weekly broadband deadline (just subscribed it few days ago again) sweat.gif . So I'm gonna test it next week. Hopefully no more "kredit kena telan" notworthy.gif

Nope, I just create the settings for 2G MMS only.

Yup bro, you got it right. It is pay-per-download, which will cost her a bomb and she'll get fainted when the monthly bill arrive    tongue.gif

So to avoid this, 3g APN must NOT be set.
*
Just tested it using 2G MMS and the weirdest thing was I can't set the MNC # to 13. I tested using 13 but somehow the settings cannot be saved.
But, you can't set it to 19! laugh.gif weird huh..

Sorry for troubling you mate thumbup.gif

@huruhara: i thought if you were already able to send mms, you should be able to retrieve it without no problem :blur:

All the while in my N1, the MNC has been set to #19 which works like a charm (i'm on unlimited plan btw), I just feel surprised when I had to set to #13 in Wildfire. Dunno wats the reason behind it. Anyway, as long as it works, I'm happy biggrin.gif

Yea u may try LEVIATHAN & gajahwhite suggestion as well. That might solve ur prob also. smile.gif

Bro if ur on unlimited data plan, i think u no need to worry about the $$ already. Just activate both 3G APN and MMS settings and ur good to go.

Dunno wheather this will help or not...

I used to have problem with MMS setting... after a few times consulting with the customer service... I pinpoint the problem to APN WAP was not setup in my phone. After adding the WAP setting I can sent and receive MMS...

Maybe you guys should try this...

Not necessary require the WAP setting, because your MMS proxy setting is pointing to WAP also. Which in the network architecture it should be that way...

But if it works... thumbup.gif

bro..
I think your configuration setting's wrong. It should be this way.

CELCOM 3G SETTING (tick it @ round green button should be on)
Name: celcom3g
apn: celcom3g
apn type: default

CELCOM 3G MMS SETTING
name: celcom3g mms
apn: celcom3g
mmsc: http://mms.celcom.net.my
mms proxy: 10.128.1.242
mms port: 8080
apn type: mms

Other than that, leave it to the default value. You still having problem with MMS right? And try to delete the Celcom 3G WAP setting.
Btw, if you're in PREPAID, please do untick the background data. It is in the Setting --> Account & Sync ---> Background data
