I am paying thru Maybank2u since mid-2004. It is great & convenient despite the RM1 charge per transaction.

The first time i paid i was so nervous (knowing our gov depts  sweat.gif ), i called PTPTN up after payment..confirm money received.

Now they will send a balance statement via post to us, i got mine late last year - the figures are spot-on correct !!  thumbup.gif

Hint: You can pay more than 1 mnth installment(or any amount for that matter)  to save on the transaction charges.
*
How many days the transaction to be succeeded?

If we do the transaction at the bank counter, the RM1 transaction fee is still appliable?

Anybody tries this on other bank offers like BCB or PB internet banking?

Maybank2u has the most payee & features.
But pity it's not available 24 hours.
*
That's the beauty of it ... having the highest number of payees.

Spot on!!!!!
The uptime of MB2U is terrible IMO
*
That's drawback of it ... uptime is not good.

Are all banks adopting the 5-day work policy starting this month? Meaning they're not doing any operation on first and third Saturdays.

Well, HSBC is not a local bank. They may not provide local bank services such as inter-bank fund transfer.

foreign bank should be more advance in these online thing
*
They're advanced. HSBC is among the pinoeer banks who are adopting hardware security token in order to access to their Online/Internet Banking system.

In term of local banking services, they may be lagging behind. Even tough they do offer local banking services, they may impose fees/charges on it.

the hardware token is totally a stupid step and watse of resources

i was in germany and i never see such thing
the only thing i need for online banking is the 6 digits code for each transaction (which is given as paper format)
*
The transcation is generated randomly for each session like Maybank's TAC or it acts like password or PIN.

yeah i know
so far i never use it because there's nothing to use/do in online banking@hsbc
*
How sad is that? Perhaps you should consider other local banks like Maybank, BCB, PB and etc.

Does anyone face the maybank2u problem?

I keep on receiving SMS after making one transaction! Received the same SMS for more than 20 times and now still going on! wtf...
*
Never experience such a weird situation.

QUOTE(kb2005 @ Mar 30 2006, 08:20 AM)
You need to apply TAC through ATM or online. Did you do that ? I don't have any problem with it.  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Yes, you can apply TAC from ATM machine. Otherwise, you can register your valid handphone at ATM machine that you use to receive the TAC via SMS with. After this little registration, you can apply TAC online under the Utilities menu.

Using Public Bank, HongLeong and Maybank internet banking services.

stick to maybank becoz of my salary, great features offered. but the speed is very slow compare to the other 2.
*
It's because Maybank has a lot of online users. They have been trying to provide good service as possible.

Refer to the merchant's website for payment method

Most of the cases you'd need to have a credit card
I know what's wrong already

It's some problem with Indosat (Maxis roaming partner at Jakarta) when I was using their service
*
Guess it's not the problem with the bank but instead your roaming telco. sweat.gif

Hope you're referring to pbebank.com. I'm one of it. The payee list is not that sufficient. I use it mainly to top up my Public Mutual investment.

or....any link can teach u how...??

thnx in advance ^^ rclxm9.gif

Apply for TAC.

Then click on Fund Transcation and select the desired type of transfer.

Key in the recipient account number.

Then you'll be requested to key in the TAC.

Key in that TAC and confirm your transaction.

You're done!

I am using

1. Pbebank online
2. Maybank2u

and trying to use the OCBC velocity now ...

OCBC velocity very the complicated. somemore the interface doesnt look good and need to pay for the service.

Conclusion : OCBC velocity is a no no  icon_idea.gif  icon_idea.gif  icon_idea.gif
*
Perhaps the "velocity" is too fast to catch up for. sleep.gif

QUOTE(gengstapo @ May 2 2006, 09:54 AM)
i use PBe, kinda slow in transaction(transfer-out). it need not less 12hours & onli receiver can get the $$$ sweat.gif

but transfer-in, very fast wan rclxm9.gif
*
Transfer-out means you're transferring money to other accounts? Are you a interbank (not same bank - PB) fund transfer?
