I been using maybank quite a while now. Its the best among all the banks in Malaysia, still need some improvement on the fund transfer section, at times its very confusing.
*
What's so confusing? I felt that it's rather straight forward.

There's Credit/Debit Card Payment under Payments/Recharge.

I don't have a CC from PB. So don't know how it works. Sorry ...

I still have not much high faith on Citibank as their fraud case is pretty high. Sorry ... sleep.gif

The login method is quite similar to DiGi OCS on-screen numeric keypad.

haha, mb its best we do our online banking after working hours on our own pcs with our backs against the wall tongue.gif

y don't they jumble up the keys & position? its not like customers need to 'type' in qwerty format or anything? send ur post to citibank CS and wait for the reaction.

i'm quessing its case-insensitive!?

True ... they should try to mimick DiGi OCS. The numeric keypad is randomly placed.

But then again, if someone attempts 3 consecutive login failures, wouldn't they automatically lock the account?
*
Meaning they won't suspend the login? I thought it's a common practice to suspend login if failed for 3 times.

This is strict password choosing policy ... like those who are working in a high security organization.

I've never entered wrong password/PIN numbers for any online banking system before, and hence, I can't give any testimonials.

Any volunteers here wishing to verify this?
*
I tried on Maybank and PB before. Suspended after 3 times.

For BCB, I experienced on entering the answer for the secret question. Suspended this portion after failed 3 times.

i've locked out on mb2u, BCB, HLB, RHB bank - all for testing purposes. boy, some of them customer service ppl was a liitle pissed when i said i wanted to go on a vacation, so i locked my account for 10 days. LoL

just the usual, name, new ICNo, old ICNo, acc#, mother's maiden name, primary school, secret answer...etc. takes about 10~30 mins to get up & going again.
*
What are you trying to do? Are you asking the CS to lock all the accounts for 10 days due to your vacation? Can do so? Not bad?

But again, if your account is suspended due to the failure of entering the correct password, you'll be going for the quite similar process of verification.

So that I can't do a fund transfer at PB that is more than the limit that I have set. Somemore, I can't split the transaction into 2 transfers. They said the maximum amount must be equal to the transfer limit.

Besides, I can't increase the limit online and it needs to be done at the branch. That's so inconveniences. I prefer Maybank as they can do this online.

Anyone here tried Alliance Bank Interbank transfer before?

I was told by the bank that the require time for the recepient to receive the money is depend on the crediting bank. I asked if I transfer before the daily cut off time, will the beneficiary receive the money on the same day.

She answered me it depends on the crediting bank whether they have a lot of batches to be processed or not.. But she said the latest is 3 days...

Damn, where got such answer?

Even Maybank, Ambank etc write on their web that the benificiary will receive the money either on the same day or the next working day if the transfer is performed before the cut of time/ or after.

Sucx!

Interbank fund transfer takes time to process. My friend experience roughly the same situation as yours when he tried to transfer money from Maybank to PB.

I think HSBC will have a way to address such issue. Just wait and see.
