It is called Pavillion Bukit Jalil, P2 definitely can't compared to Paviliion BJ. P2 too small.
Pavillion Bukit Jalil is definitely larger than Pavillion II in PBD, based on my calculation, Pavillion II is the smallest among all
Pavillion Bukit Jalil - 2.1 mil (l/a 15 acres nett)
Pavillion KL - 1.4 mil (l/a 6.5 acres)
Pavillion II (PBD) - 900K (l/a 4.8 acres nett)

I hv seen the artist drawing of Pavillion BJ, it is the most futuristic mall I ever seen in M'sia.

In terms of total land area, Jalil city whole development is about 3.5X of Malton entire PBD development, with expected 8 Bil GDV (BJ) vs 2/3 Bil GDV (PBD)

Pavillion 2 will probably built on the open car park area measuring bout 6.5 acres land in Pusat Bdr Damsnsara.
The size of mall is bout like Paradigm LDP (700K nett lettable area) due to restricted in land size, the P2 is only in small scale.
Another plot of land which is adjacent to it is 9.58 acres which will be mix development.
Nothing great bout Pavillion 2. In KV, Mall size does matter (min requirement), management quality is equally important

Now the Pavillion 2 that we are talking about here is no longer the mall in Bukit Jalil anymore ? readers here might be confused as the title of topic is still Pavillion 2......

Can we request the forum administrator to change Pavillion 2 to Pavillion Bukit Jalil ?

Thread title changed as we await for confirmation, before that, what's confirmed is Malton's side development is Bukit Jalil City + Ho Hup's Aurora.

Btw none of my thread got put Mall name so special like this. Haha.
*
I thought Malton side is very much confirmed to be 'Pavillion Bukit Jalil'....

BUKIT JALIL CITY = 60 acres
60 acres = 50 acres + 10 acres
50+10 = Malton + Ho Hup
Malton + HH =
Mall + Shoplots + Hotels + Service Apartment + Office Tower (MALTON) + Hybrid Mall (+ Shoplot) + SOVO + Service Apartment (HO HUP)

Depending on how they position the malls.

Like One Utama, Ikano Power Centre, the Curve, and IKEA all can survive with differentiated offerings.

Sungai Wang, Pavilion, Times Square, Lot 10, Starhill all also have ppl patron. Just that some are busier while some are quieter.

To me Aurora hybrid mall can position itself selling boutique fashions, home brands, car/furniture showrooms and other niche offerings while P2 like Mid Valley cater for mass brands plus some common high end brands.
*
I would say maybe Aurora Place will be a success if the mall is lease and managed by one good operator, but all lots are individually owned, so no one is able to control the type of business operation in any lot.

But too bad that time the lauching price was much higher than the surrounding so I didnt buy.

Now bit regret coz it most likely will turn out to be a super nice condo.
*
is not a condo, it is a service apartment anyway....

Shd be called strata retail rather than shoplot
*
If this is the retail lots underneath the service apartment, I heard there are not many units and most of it has already been taken up internally.

See the price tag 1st in order to comment further

If rate purely based on product feature, location and potential,
1. Malton Shop
2. Aurora Place 4-S
3. Park Resudence Retail
4. Aurora Place 3-S and 5-S
*
I think there should be another one adding to your list would be the retail lot in Hop Hup service apartment.

if you happen to pass by the site, you can see the show house is under construction, showhouse completion is the time when they are about to launch their service apartment, maybe another 2 more months or so.

So many highrises in BJ, hopefully it wont be another MK where oversupply is still looming
*
hopefully not. I guess MK buyer are mostly investors and targeting expat tenant, where else BJ are mostly buying for own stay....

On launching moment, Ho Hup & Malton were still having boxing fight on stage, I was suppose to book an unit but withdrew eventually, I worry the legal suite may drag 10 yrs, now feel geram and regretted
Congrats to those who took the risk to purchase, they deserve to make huge profit
*
u mean the earth ? you think their prospect can be on par or better then those shop in Hohup or malton ?
