where can i get the previous firmware (before 4.12) for m6?

Pls stick on 4.12,as it has improve a lot bug

i know about the bug. just wanna test on this IMS 超级影视SoCool of previous firmware.

If you look at the attachment, this is one of the series in the 超级影视SoCool（underSC21在线影）。As you can see, we have many episodes but could not select any of the episodes using Enter/Select/Left/Right buttons/number pad. From the instruction in the blue bar数字键选源，what does it mean? Press 1, 2, 3 etc? Please find out from the manufacturer and see whether they can tell us how to select the episodes using our remote since i know the channels/episodes under 超级影视SoCool used to work in previous firmware (there's a blue highlight on the episode selected when we use Left and Right button to navigate).

zhen wei, I've bought 1 2T hdd for the M6, when i format it using m6, it auto separate to 1=1862.02gb, 157mb healthy partition, 533mb healthy partition and 190mb unallocated partition. why like this ?
Can I use pc to format it then only put into the device ?

Awaiting on M9. The design look solid.

expected when will the M9 be release?

maybe u can use other IMS. tat's why so many let u choose.


if u format using ur PC, u won't get total 2TB. for realtek player, i not sure why they allocate like this, maybe they allocate the space for system file or cache.

Eaget M9 not sure yet. next month Eaget just launched, and after mass produce, i think we only able to get it february, maybe after CNY.

I've run through most of the IMS and found that most of them cannot be used, except 天翼and Sina Movie. 超级影视SoCool contains a lot of series that used to work and i assume it will still work, except for the episode selection problem. It would do the customer good if you as the dealer can help the customer to find out how to solve the problem, even though IMS is not guaranteed.

So far, havent found any IMS program/channel that has many working series/episodes as 超级影视SoCool. so your help to escalate to the manufacturer is very much appreciated. thanks.

these software not made by the Eaget but can get the application and link from China forum. if u see the IMS page, u been told they are not responsible for any 3rd party playing program.
if they come out new firmware to add more IMS or improve the movie bug then i will add in first post.

Hi bro i encounter that my new WD My passport cannot detect by M8. Is it M8 can support USB 3.0? or else i need to format my passport to others format (currently is NTFS). i cannot format the drive by M8 cause cannot detect loh. Please help bro and thanks.

eaget cannot format USB hdd.
it can support usb 3.0, i am using one.
not need format ur hdd, NTFS is ok.
do u see the USB Drive in Movie section ?

In my PC ok no problem. But when i plug in my M8 cannot detect loh. any ideal? i tried plug and unplug it many many times still same. sien liao

Eaget X5 is 1 USB, Eaget X5R 2USB, eaget put wrong pic.

is it 3.5" external hardisk and require the power adapter right ?
make sure ur 3.5" external hardisk is power by adapter and not only rely on USB
btw, u can use thumdrive to test the USB port is working or not.

i got 2 external hardisk with USB 3.0. one is 3.5" ok no problem another is 2.5" cannot detect. 2.5" dun have power adapter 1. BTW i try to format my new 2.5" again in PC then will try later to feedback.
USB port working ok no issue.

turn off the smartware program when you are using WD My Book series.

how come i dont seem to be able upgrade my x6 to 4.12? downloaded the RAR file and copied the install.img into my root of a 1gb thumbdrive
then i go into system > misc > usb upgrade
then it'll read my thumb drive a while and tells me theres no upgrade data..

in "Version Info" its listed as follows
System: 330510
Kernel: #9
Bootcode: 0000.0202.21C+
