we can throw away our N series already...
but honestly speaking, for low-cost series, i think A/K series is better than others like Dell Inspiron, Compaq Presario and Acer Aspire (note: not Gemstone/TimelineX/Ethos)...

QUOTE(crysumsung @ Sep 1 2010, 12:41 PM) no, i din't delete the old driver, just install and restart...how to delete the old driver?? TQ for u help. my own guide extracted from BenQ thread...QUOTE 1) Download and install Driver Sweeper. 2) Download the new driver to the desktop. We'll use it later. 3) Uninstall the old driver with Windows Uninstaller. Go Control Panel, Add and Remove Programs (Vista)/Programs and Features (Win7). 4) Restart, boot into Safe Mode. (Press F8 continuously after the computer boot, until the Winodws Advanced Menu is brought up) 5) Run Driver Sweeper. Tick the driver to clean, and let it run. 6) Restart, back into normal mode. 7) Install the new driver. Restart if needed. This post has been edited by astria: Sep 1 2010, 12:44 PM |

QUOTE(w33wawa @ Sep 6 2010, 10:29 AM) Most of the game can be run on full setting without lag on A42JV. re u sure NFSU is a good benchmark??? i tested game such as SC2 (ultra), NFSU (all high) without problem. did any1 tested with crysis? any tutorial to improve the performance of A42JV further more ? This laptop is certainly worth the price in terms of the specs i am expecting games like BF:BC2, Kane and Lynch 2, Mafia II, etc etc... |

that's becuz most screen protectors in the market are still for 16:10 monitor...
wat i did was, buy one for 15.4" monitor, then cut it myself... not a clean job, but still better than nothing... |

original need not be expensive, if u know where to find...
Upgrade and OEM is heaps cheaper than full Retail... best if u can find the Home Upgrade Package... 3 Home Premium for US$150... if u re a student, u can get Academic price... Pro for less than rm200... if u re a Uni/poly student, check if u can get involved in MSDN AA, free Pro to use... Technet and MSDN, a few hundred US$, heaps of licenses to use... |
