I use Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000. It is USB headset with microphone. It is an old model though.

Did anyone encounter problem with their Asus laptop webcam ?
My laptop model is N61JQ-A1.
Mine was working great few weeks ago , then it started to cause problem for me .
I cant seems to turn in on in skype and msn , even LifeFrame pop up a message stated that the camera is used by another program .
Whats wrong with it ? I tried disable it and enable it again , uninstall and reinstall the driver .
It just wont work ...
Any solution ?

any recommendation for me getting an asus lappy with numeric pad ... With a better graphic card /320 gb hard drive / 2-3 gb DDR3 / 15-17 inch / i5 or i7 .

Better go with Dell XPS 15, Acer 5742G or Dell Vostro 3700....
Asus don't really have good offer in 15''-17'' unless you go with Asus G-series...

sound like a software problem.... if anything cannot solve, just format.... no choice... unless
you can find the culprit that is using the camera....

im interested in this cooler..

still having the lagginess problems with my a42jv..its not permanently lag but only for 1-2 and ..only if i restart the lappy things turn back to normal...
is this hardware related or a minor probs?

then the only way is format!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If after format still lag, then I think your laptop got hardware problem. Probably
thermal paste got issue.. probably you can check for TM1/TM2 triggered or other
stuff
