I have overclock my GT 335M with Core Clock 550MHz, Shader Clock 1320MHz, Memory Clock 900MHz. 3DMark06 benchmark score increased around 12%. FPS increased almost 50%. I haven't overclock it more than this but I believe it can go higher. I have read several people managed to overclock GT 335M with Core Clock 650MHz & Memory Clock 1XXXMhz.

Yes, just use the slider & click apply.

GC will get hotter when overclock. So make sure you use cooling pad to help cool the GPU faster. When overclock, don't increase it too much. For example, normal Core Clock 450MHz, increase it to 480, then 500, then 520 & so on. Do the same with Memory Clock. After every increment, do system stability test, for example Everest System Stability Test. MSI Afterburner also have it own stability test feature. The limit should be obvious. When you run system stability test, your notebook crashed or BSOD, that is the limit or to be precise the previous increment is the best & stable for your GPU. Good luck. icon_rolleyes.gif It seems GT 335M have some kind protection feature. I did try drag the Core Clock slider to maximum, after pressing the apply button, the nvidia driver crashed & recovered immediately but GPU run very slow (throttling). Need to reboot for GPU run normally. Several people also has reported similar behavior. Anyway, don't do the same thing. It is not advisable. nod.gif

It won't heat that much, mostly just extra 3-5C ...
Unless yours currently is near overheating, then don't do it.

Just search for Everest. You should be able to find it.

No actually. I just play safe by setting the Core Clock to 550 because I know it will work. It can go further.

If you're afraid, just overclock a little or don't overclock at all. tongue.gif

evga precision also can be use...i think its the same as afterburner but it allows us to clock the gpu core clock up until 720mhz and the shader to 1730mhz.afterburner limit it to 585/1405
