hmmm i got a minor problem with the battery latch. it didnt eject properly, but its too minor of a problem to actually go and have it fixed O.o. anyone else got this problem?

How many years u think it will last if only using it once per month??

temp was running 60C ... with no activity.. after 10mins
removed heatsink.. thermal compond was caked solid...
cleaned and reapply thermal compond..
replace heatsink.. now running 40C ....
cpu activity watching MKV or VOB file for 1hr...
temp at 47C ... maxed at 55C ... not bad...

i only on 1 program which is skype or when gaming just the game. temp is around 50-70, no cooler, my place here are quite cold, i think no need cooler?

I did format using the asus recovery CD, but it's included with all the drivers and programs all ready. Not fresh format. but it's still having problem.

U got prob when playing dota using Optimus Technology???

I doubt it. I'm playing SA fine with the GPU.

SA is a F2P online game though. I doubt that would be the problem.

ya the green light is on but it doesnt turn on.

but for mine, after switching off and on the switch also it wouldn't turn on. i need to unplug the adapter from the laptop and plug it in again only i would turn on. dunno what is the problem. should we call Asus?

But I'm sad my Autodesk Maya has a few bugs coz apparently Autodesk Maya does not support the Nvidia 335m yet.

it just happened again that my laptop coudn't turn on. i do switch off the main switch after using, it is not on for 24 hours/day

yes.. i just called ASUS, the technician asked me to unplug the adapter, and press the power button for 10 times to make the switch discharge. he said he had never heard such complains before. maybe you guys should complain to them and make them aware of this issue

i am not sure. lol. just see whether this problem still occur or not. maybe because these few days' weather is cold and too wet.
