I using P42V20k with my htpc to see 1080p movies in my bed room, no problem at all. Smooth at all, can be say perfect. Now wait funds for Asus Xnor1.3 with HD-dts only.
Got anothers problem is storage, every 2-3mths I need to buy a new 2TB HDD to keep all the movies I download. But thus way is lower cost then I buy the Bly-ray disc lah.
Sometime I download the 1080p MTV also nice to watch... Sook sook.
Now days the plasma should nit gv the issue of burn mark already unless u use 24hr 1year 365day to open slide show with less or not moving image. Like around 5-10years u tv only came out the burn mark.

The Kuros are very resilient, as long as it its not abused, the chances are slim. However, if u abuse it, it can cause burn in for any phosphor based technology.

Mix and match ur content, do not use dynamic mode. Turn on the orbiter and u shd be ok.
