Though I may be critical of our tactics at times, I do trust the management when it comes to determining if young players are ready for first team action. I've seen posters raving about Pacheco, Ayala, El-Zhar (who isn't even all that young), Nemeth and co but in my opinion, none of them look like first team material. Again, this is my opinion and I won't lay claim to it being the gospel truth. If they've impressed it's only because expectations are lower due to their age. Having said that they will still develop.

How about Jonjo Shelvey ? He is Rafa buy right ? Doubt RH will give him chance

Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez is chasing a move to Liverpool.

Liverpool have made a move for the Germany international in the past week.

"When a club like Liverpool inquires, their interest cannot be pushed off the table," his advisor, Uli Ferber allegedly told Kicker.

Gomez is out of favour in Bavaria, and would "just like to play football again", according to Ferber.

Luis Suarez says he won't push for a move away from Ajax.

The Uruguay striker has been linked with Sunderland, Manchester United and Liverpool.

Suarez told NUsport: "Ajax's financial position is the only reason I'm even thinking of a transfer.

"But if I leave Ajax, I will go to a club where 'real football is played'.

Both Gomez and Suarez are good for Liverpool..
But at the moment, i think "Super Mario" is the best option for Liverpool..

He has played for the team during pre-season. From the look of things, Kelly looks the most likely to feature this season.

If he plays on field and, reina get sent off, we can use him as keeper.No need to use any subs

on one hand (pun intended), it was a disgrace what he did...and unsportsman-like behaviour and he was punished for it.

but...

on the other hand (pun intended, again)... i think if i were in his shoes, id have done the same thing.

No.For his age, his goal scoring record, we need him. Most importantly, we need a versatile player.His talent to play at both end of the field speaks it all. We need him.
