We should sell Gerrard..becoz...he looks ugly.

He's not ugly. Come to think of it, we do not have any exceptionally ugly looking players. Masch was quite ugly...lol

Everyoe sure have a bad day. Anyway, Reina is a good keeper, no doubt. I never question his capability.

I know I'm gonna get flamed here but I'm saddened by the fact that in this thread, posters these days would rather emphasize on posting "The Obvious" 1 liners without inserting any insights, people like Pepe Reina may not attract many fans these days after his constant blunders in the past few weeks, but do we need to hear it over and over again?

The Liverpool FC topic has always been packed with great, interesting posts. I know that not everybody here can type with perfect English but who is complaining? Does it hurt to not post something up in this thread?

IF only I get a penny out of every nonsense in this thread, I'd be one of the richest guys in the world.

I have posted out the Robbie Fowler's videos with the hopes of starting some decent topics here but apparently, no one cares. Or do you even recognize God Fowler? If you don't, do you even bother to find out who is that?

I was no where near the age of watching how King Kenny played, but I looked through his videos and I went through the story of Shanks, Paisley, even wikipedia is good enough to provide you with all the necessary information. Hillsborough Tragedy, how many of us here know about that. You may not know now but you never even bother to look at it but instead posting craps apparently makes you look more intelligent these days.

In the current big picture, it's easier getting discussion on 6th October than on an ex-player for fans that have attachment to the club.

Love the youtube video u posted on God Fowler bro,he's one of my favourite Liverpool player after Ian Rush and John Barnes, heck i even purchased his autobiography and in it,there are alot of stories of him growing up,how he broke into the 1st team, his close relationship with Steve Mcmanaman and some funny stories,u'll never get bored with every page.

He's a natural goalscorer who can shoot and score outside and inside the penalty box, often into the far corner which is unreachable by any goalkeeper in the world,i bet he can even score with his eyes close! yeah, maybe im exaggerating but the truth is,a player of his quality are few and far between. As for me,im still waiting for a player to burst from the academy, like God Fowler once did...

Mate, you really need to learn to pick up on sarcasm.

Lil Red, I feel you. Some days, this discussion thread resembles a twitter wall what with all the obvious one liners. I call Shebby Mr. Obvious because of the generic statements he makes. Maybe he's a closet fan posting here ?

It wasn't too long ago that we had good insightful posts but a few have left and I think it is because of the lack in substance. I must say that posters here should read the .tv or RAWK forums to get a better idea of what they discuss and to learn from posters like Wooltonian. Wishful thinking perhaps.

Back to Fowler. I read his autobiography as well and it was brilliant. Not many who have played under him have nice things to say about Souness. Aside from being a natural footballer he is a smart one as well, investment wise. While you read about celebrity footballers splurging on wild parties and living it up, Fowler invested his money and he is one of the richest footballers around. I do somehow think it has to do with his Scouse roots, avoiding the spotlight and all. Yes he gets his mug in the papers every now and then but very seldom for the wrong reasons. Carra is the same. Stevie's only incident that I can recall involves Mark McGhee and was fairly recent but by and large, his image is spotless.

Hodgson reserves judgement

Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson believes it is too early to gauge how his side are performing in the Premier League this season.

Having recorded a win, a defeat and a draw so far this term, the Reds travel to Birmingham on Sunday looking to kick-start their campaign.

New boss Hodgson took the reins at Anfield this summer following the departure of former coach Rafa Benitez, and has since made a few changes to his squad.

Despite being five points behind current leaders Chelsea, Hodgson is unconcerned by the current standings and is waiting until the 10th game of the campaign before making a judgement.

"I know how many points we have but I don't know what that means in terms of the table," he said.

No interest

"I think tables are of no interest until at least 10 games have been played.

"Then you start looking to see how big a gap there is between yourself and the top teams or between yourself and the bottom teams. I don't think you worry about that after three games.

"The programme plays a big part in that and we've already played Arsenal at home and Manchester City away.

"Injuries play a part as well when teams don't have their best team available early on but will do soon.

"After 10 games I will start worrying about the table but until then I'll worry more about performances and results."

Liverpool have an action packed few weeks coming up as they face a Europa League clash with Steaua Bucharest, a Carling Cup tie against Northampton and a league game with rivals Manchester United.

actually.. its neither. but just for your amusement, its semi-sarcastic.

if u think its stupid then i suggest you look at last season.

if theres anything ur gonna shoot me with is my passion (or lack of it if u will).

PS: its more of a suggestive statement with sarcastic intent.

A suggestion for us to sink? Apparently, only your posts can be sarcastic (or amusing if you'd like to put it that way), while posts from others are just plain stupid. So much for a passionate and never-fails-in-picking-sarcasm person.
