QUOTE(Duke Red @ Sep 1 2010, 04:10 PM)
Not everyone mate. I for one wish him well and hope he flourishes at Barcelona. If you want to be angry at him, then it's your right. I on the other hand, empathise with him and can only hope that the majority of Liverpool fans display the traits that once made us the most patient fans around.

as i said, i'm not angry or condemned him because he wanted to leave.. he was a good player for us. i just wished that he would stay classy, shut up and move on.

Masch has done a lot for the club. To be honest, the only ex-players I actively dislike is Judas and Diouf.

Konchesky should be a good add to the club.
I could still remember the FA Cup final like it was yesterday. His "fluke" goal that went in almost shed a tear in my eye until the final minute.

I dun think it can be "totally a RH first 11" as Torres, Reina, Gerrard, Carra are not signed by him. laugh.gif
maybe first 7? tongue.gif

It should work both ways.
Roy Hodgson should just shut his mouth and let Mascherano go (especially he knows he has no TOKEN to convince Mascherano to stay). He just made the situation complicated.
Mascherano would not have hit back on Roy Hodgson.

On 24 Aug, Roy Hodgon said Rafa was a player poacher.
Well, he tried to stop Mascherano from leaving the club.
He probably could stop Inter, by telling the media that Rafa was a poacher, but not Barcelona.
(I think he forgot Rafa is just a COACH at Inter Milan).
He himself poached player from his former club, Paul Konchesky. Hypocrites?

Obviously, he couldn't stop Mascherano from leaving for Barcelona.
And he ended up talking a lot.

P/S How Mascherano left for Barcelona? It's the same way how Roy Hodgson joined Liverpool from Fulham.

as bad as it sounds on paper, i don't think masch is doing anything wrong. he was supposed to leave last season and delayed the move for a year, we see this coming.

a year ago i don't think anyone expected us to slump down to 7th, RB to leave, RH to takeover with no transfer kitty. we could have won the league and masch may have still made up his mind to leave. i don't think RH realize the decision made by the argentinian before he came, perhaps that led to the misunderstanding between the two men now.

anyway, the player has left and RH has got a replacement, hopefully masch will continue to flourish wherever he goes. we don't see many players playing with passion as compared to monster masch, when he's on the pitch, he's contributed 100% every single time and i hold no grudges.

Ryan Babel Reveals On Twitter 'I'm Going Nowhere' After Liverpool Accept Tottenham's £5m Offer

Ryan Babel has announced on his Twitter site that he will be staying at Liverpool.

The Dutch international has been at the centre of a deadline day transfer tug-o'-war involving Tottenham and West Ham but has ended speculation about his immediate future 80 minutes before the end of the transfer window.

Babel's posts on his Twitter account read: "Guys, guys, guys...I'm going nowhere...LFC all the way...ynwa."

After Goal.com UK revealed that Spurs had made a swoop for the unsettled Liverpool forward, Tottenham followed up their initial enquiry about taking the player on a season-long loan with a £5 million offer.

It is understood that the Anfield club accepted the bid but Tottenham's hopes of bringing the player to White Hart Lane were scuppered by interest from West Ham in making Babel part of a swap deal involving Carlton Cole.

Amid reports that Babel was flying in a helicopter from Merseyside to London, there was strong speculation that the Dutchman was en route to Upton Park rather than Spurs' training ground.

Hello all. I will be travelling to UK for the next two weeks, and am hoping to catch the Bham Pool game at Sept12.
Problem is, how do I tell which seats to buy as an away fan? Here is the stadium layout.

Apparently the away fans tickets are only available for LFC fan club members, which I think means the LFCTV thing. I'm worried about being seated with Bham supporters, in case we score and I overcelebrate doh.gif I dont know, I've never been to an English match.

You're gonna go alone? There are plenty of people who would be more than happy to take you around there, if you log on to RAWK and ask for help, they are a great bunch. thumbup.gif

I'm going with my dad. Ok I found out the away fans are on the lower west, but are separated from the Bham fans with plastic nets ohmy.gif ohmy.gif
Should I purchase the seats closer to the away fans or just sit with the home fans ?
