no need dangerous rams, i just using my KVR oni...

i use an8 ultra before.. the performance is superB.... very overclockable.. but not as far as ultra-D...

this board dont have issue with 1T timing... that what i can say

just now surf n found out that, abit has lounch new fatality an9

from the view quite interesting
but so upset because until now no fatality model for ati chipset

one more thing it used for socket 940

what processor can fit it is it opteron and can 939 can fit it in to

juz know the Fatality AN8 vdimm voltage max is 2.8v only.....

thats y an8 ultra will be better than an8 fatal1ty...even its doesnt hav ram cooler and uguru panel...

right now an8 sli 32x is the best AMD 939 board by ABIT

The abit kn8 ultra is the same with dis fatally an8?
I only manage to get 222 x9 with dis kn8 :S

did u lower your LDT to 3X?
to increase more htt u need to drop LDT

Using the old an8 sli and it offer vdimm voltage up till 3.5v. So far havent fully tested it out as my graphic card not even arrive.

anyone can share about AM2 board ?? Kn9 series.. AFAIK, chipset for this board damn hot

kn8 ultra is a good board.manage to hit 325 htt stable with cm 430 xtreme psu summore.mayb can go more.using value ram u need divider but performance ram depend.

Im using KN8 Ultra too. A good budget board to me, managed to get 325HTT with the HTT voltage set to +8%. 350HTT achievable with +12%.

is it the problem wif my mobo or the lan itself

I got prob here.. My mobo got conflict with oc guru.. It didnt use the bios setting.. cpu-z oso show at dafault speed.. But at bios already change the freq and voltage.. only oc guru software show the same like the bios settings..

can use this thread as official Abit mobo thread?? eheh

but got problem with ram divider......
rite now OC 250HTT... 1:1
which means RAM also run at 250
and i want lock ram at ddr500 (250)
so the proc can go higher.....
but then the CPU wont boot....wonder why~~
but it ran fine when set ddr400 (which is 1:1 rite??)

anybody here still using Av8 ???
can giv me some tips??

did u try to reset the bios using the bios reset jumper? i'm using abit an8 ultra..sometimes faced hanged problem entering bios, what i did just reset the jumper and everything back to default..i just managed to go to 2.6g 290httx9..my ram oer limit already..using only cap ayam ram 512ddr pc2100 only now ram running 189mhz, 2.5-2-2-5..i know quite low..planning to upgrade the ram la...hehe

try everything.....reset,reseat and bla everything i can think off except replacing the capacitor...........

anyway ur cap ayam quite good mah....... mine go till 250 only(actually i think can go just i grow tired of it)....... aih sien

i would like to seek advice from sifu2 here..
will team extreem ram either UCCC or micron ddr 500 2x1gb compatible wif an8 fatatily? mobo?
