u sell very cheap leh. haha sold it dy? but i really find revving is much slower dy. i dont mind about top speed as its dangerous to myself and other road users, just my thoughts la. by the i also uninstalled it already.

sometimes i just felt like i over mod my car too much

there are few type of 4g93 / gsr.  mine was of gsrt ck or dohc 4g93t with mivec head and custom made parts to accommodate the aggressive head.
spare parts was plenty.  dyno result shows a lousy 270bhp on flywheel to protect the almost stock tiptronic gearbox.
i could say the reliability is about the same with 4g18p. a few friend had been using 4g93t on their waja for 5 years without any problem; provided that due care was practiced.
normal driving style with 'kepishh!' overtaking sound    return about 8.41km/l or 0.24/km using bhp and caltex ron97. just stay away from the lousy shell's v-power 97 for spirited driving.
perhaps, you could go for dohc 4g93t and just de-tuned it by removing the turbo and use proper piggyback management.

most of the 4g93 halfcut in the market are those of 4g93 dohc turbo with few manual gearbox.
swapping head isn't a problem. but converting from sohc to dohc need more than 1k, which is why the dohc version is still a viable buy.

there is no mivec 1.8 halfcut yet. only comes in new mitsu car.
there is no replacement for displacement. and less worry when running on factory fitted turbo engine  .
chances are you could go for 4g93t sooner cuz' government might impose a stricter law on halfcut import.
i am experimenting with 4g93t with mivec head btw. so far so good after installing the custom made fuel rail. make sure to choose the correct turbine for minimal turbo lag.

btw, too bad your wheels was of 17". my main ride already on 17" and waja is currently on 16" cheap taiwan gp wheels.
17" on stock waja engine kill the acceleration.
then again, its all down to individual preference.

4g93t is the answer 
at 6.5++kg,  your 17" is a lightweight wheels.  it was the tire diameter / wider contact that caused the slight increase in fc. any decrease in braking performance when carrying a heavy load?
was playing around with a few chips until i tested the unichip with gsrt ecu piggyback. the aggressive mivec top doesn't works well on single rail fuel feed. hence the custom made one. once the mivec feeding settled, it was easier on the piggyback. doesn't really open up like a complete mivec setup but at least, minimal intermittent.

currently out of budget to further mod my waja.
just spend a fortune on a 1jz-gte setup on main ride 
look like i may let go off my old 16" gp wheels for extra funding.
falken 912 tread wear rate sux 
but at least quieter than gsd3.
twin pot is the answer. that's the main reason i upgraded to twin pot front and gsr rear last time. was carrying 3 fat relatives from kampar to kl. 1st time braking i almost hit the car in front. car did not stop a normal braking style... and they warn me not to play around when in fact it was the lousy brake.
