This EON Bank, I support them for so long and wanna to maintain one card of them.

Just now called them for card cancellation and the CS told me to make payment before allowing me to cancel.

WTF... other banks allow for cancellation even you have outstanding balance. When statement comes, just continue settle as usual.

So, I decided to cancel both cards without maintain one of them.

don't worry go to branch and cancel.if they ask to pay just pay. EON also said any new applicant before august and swipe 3 times will get RM50 rebate. no news after 4 months. pneed to cancel their card

Got such news? I am old customer.

The card has those easy payment instalment. I wonder how am I going to pay off.

If they wanna me to pay, I can settle all but I will never go back to them. This lousy bank... if wanna cancel, need to settle all outstanding including those instalment plans.

It is the same with all other banks if i am not mistaken. Are those installment plans 0% interest ones ? Was informed by HSBC that i can't cancel their credit card until i've paid off my 0% installment plan (laptop).
*
Previously I canceled RHB one but they allowed me to cancel even I have instalment plan.

Immediately after the call, I logged into Eon Bank internet banking and sent a message to them for cancellation.

They replied me this morning 9.04am that they had forwarded the request to the respective department.

So efficient!

Added on September 6, 2010, 3:19 pmDamn, just received one call claimed to be from MBF car centre 03-21698888 and claiming I called themt his morning for card limit upgrade.

He can spell my name and IC correctly. I wonder where did he obtain such info.

I asked him to read me my card number but not correct. The mailing address also not correct. He said that I have outstanding balance of RM8k which was due for long time.

I asked him to speak in English but he told me he is not good in English. I said you are from customer service and you should know English.

He hanged up.

I surprised that how they hell where they got our name and IC no?

I am also waiting and waiting. There is no indication on when OCBC will send me the Titanium card even though the application has been approved.

So early you are here.

1. Waiting for application to be approved
2. Waiting for card to be sent

Conclusion: Long wait...

bro you are new EON card holder or existing EON cc holder? because I remember EON CS said to me swipe 3 times and get GST waiver but no sign after 4 months
*
Existing one. Due to I have 2 cards with them and one of them will be charged for GST for next month, so she urged me to swipe 3 times from now on till Oct 2010.

The other card, the tax will be charged this month and thus, no more time to swipe but she allowed me to charge 3 times within the next 2 months.

Of course approved... it's better to check with the CS in person than thru IVR.
My IVR status was Under Processing, but CS confirm the card was approved.
*
No wonder. My status is still under processing. WHen did you submit it? Through JOhnson by the email i given u?

After I fax in my application form, the next day I call CS to verify whether they received my form. They say will check and call me back. Somehow I never received any call. After a day I call CS again and they said document received.

Anyway, I am fully qualified. Somehow, my application submitted on 8/18 is still under processing.
*
Wow, 18/8. Did you ask them when the application was received?

I did their online card application,
and after tirelessly writing all details, ad after many steps,
I was instantly let known of the result.

Here it is :

Wonder if anyone is able to check SCB cc application status through phone self check system?

After IC number was entered and confirmed, it was directed to customer service instead of telling you the status.
