hey, i need help about celcom.
just bought it. but i confused about celcom broadband manager.
there's alot of profile to choose from. by default, celcom 3g is what i'm supposedly to connect with right.

what about the other profile for?
and can i set my mobile broadband for username and password?

Just back to my hometown Kluang. Well only Celcom got line. Luckily bought a prepaid card. Surprise that my area so ulu also can get 3G.

For Celcom Broadband Prepaid.
the max speed should be just up to 384k only.

You can only use Celcom 3G profile or Celcom EDGE or Celcom GPRS when you're using celcom broadband simcard.

No need to enter that username and password.

hey, today is prolly the last few days of my rm98 1 month subcription and suddenly the internet speed drop to ridiculously slow. prolly because i had exceeded 5gb cap. but i had paid my rm98 for next month this morning, why my speed is still capped? its moving superrrrr sloww..........cant survive with such speed..........

U can paid celcom bill at any handphone shop with sign 'paid celcom bill here'.
Unlike maxis/digi, celcom can use whatever profile. No extra charge.
No, u canot lock the modem. The best u can do is PIN Lock the SIM.

anyway, wanna ask about their throttle speed. for advacne plan they lower our speed till 120+kbs right?

i don't know how speed or slow is that. but is the speed bearable for us to surf/ download/ youtub-ing ?

coz, i already used up 1.5GB ++ for less than a week! That means left 3.5++ GB of volume left.... sad~

and since celcom got promotion on their ' buy additional volume'... feel like wanna grab it. what do you think? worth it?

aww man, yesterday's night speed was horrible. felt like throttle speed... below 125kbps eventhough was HSPA connection.

now currently is ok the usually Mbps.

for those who using celcom bb postpaid plan, register celcom OCS to view your current usage and information about being capped or not.. my experience with celcom advance package, they will capped you when you reach about 5.5GB, to 128kbps... and i heard that for those who subscribe basic plan will be capped at 64kbps when exceed quota.

celcom broadband prepaid only can online, cant make call
celcom blue can make call and sms. like normal prepaid card. you can subscribe daily and weekly plan on it.

anyone experience connection issue for the pass few days till today? i cant seem to connect to celcom internet, according to them theyre upgrading their KL server or something till 11.45pm but until now 12.07am still belum. hv to use my p1 instead
