QUOTE(MR_alien @ Feb 1 2011, 07:13 PM) just now installed and tested my K&N air filter 1.pickup definitely smoother...not much but still smoother 2.the engine sound more quieter and it sound different already 3.my previous RPM for 90KM/H...now with this new filter can go 95KM/H with the same RPMSorry to say, pure placebo effect u got there. speed @ RPM is determined by gear ratio, nothing to do with filter or engine power, even you put 1.6 Campro with same tranny also the same.

Yesterday just went back from Ipoh to JB, this morning start the car idling is up and down for almost a minute, at a moment the engine nearly stall. Everytime the engine after long run will develop some strange behavior, like human too tired or what, then after few days all will be fine again. Sigh.

QUOTE(+Newbie+ @ Feb 8 2011, 05:31 PM) ok ...... u mean when you just start the engine and leave it idling ... urs wont go up an down? Crap .... time to add another issue to my list before my next visit ....... You are right, especially cold start idling the RPM will stay steady, won't go up and down. Unacceptable considering it is fuel injection engine. Added on February 8, 2011, 7:08 pmQUOTE(sonotme @ Feb 8 2011, 06:23 PM) yeah same now if i don't start my car for like 3 days, the next time I will have problem starting up. have to rev to make sure the engine doesn't die.. Until now no engine stall at idling la, but consider this kind of behavior, might happen later or soon only. This post has been edited by coolkwc: Feb 8 2011, 07:08 PM

QUOTE(xshiro @ Feb 8 2011, 07:41 PM) I guess some sensor feedback problem causing this. Else ECU is just a microprocessor to process incoming signal to inject more/less fuel, without input means no output. During cold start, O2 sensor got something wrong: Hey, Mr ECU, why u inject so many fuel? Mr ECU: OK, i decrease it. but due to cold engine room, temp sensor: Hey Mr ECU, why u inject so little fuel, i'm cold la... Mr ECU: OK, i increase it... then non-stop feedback .... QUOTE(cyrusdidi @ Feb 9 2011, 10:35 AM) the SAGA R3 bumper is it customized? mind sharing how much for that front bumper please? last few weeks mine was knocked by other car(she reversed) after fixed, still, it has a dent but covered by no. plate, not so obvious. but behind the bumper(inside) there's the steel bar, dented already, now the hood cannot fit nicely after fixed at that workshop offered by her -.-"' You should bring your car to the workshop that you trust rather than offered by her, of course she will ask the shop to fix as cheap as possible, or the shop simply dun have skill.

Same amount u done outside or inside, since 1k-5k-10k is 'free of service charge', you should service at SC rather than outside. This post has been edited by coolkwc: Feb 10 2011, 01:06 PM

QUOTE(lhwj @ Feb 14 2011, 10:03 PM) My father noticed it was quite high so I told the service centre to adjust it lower. They said "Cannot adjust one" I seldom use mine anyway, only on pitch dark roads... but it's still a lot better than the high beam (at not blinding people). Besides the rear spoiler, I love everything else honestly i freaking love that spoiler. i think remove the door visor is much more better. QUOTE(WShaun @ Feb 15 2011, 09:52 AM) So ur steering vibration is during 1. Stop while engage D and press brake? or 2. Stop and free to N gear? If 1) little steering vibration is normal, but shouldn't too much, if you feel something not right, just go to SC and ask for their check. This post has been edited by coolkwc: Feb 15 2011, 09:56 AM

QUOTE(CyberKewl @ Feb 15 2011, 10:36 PM) anyone tried the turbo air booster from here b4? Does it work? : http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1602475Bro, useless for fuel injection engine which come with lambda sensor (O2 sensor). The theory is simple, introduce more air inside, the sensor will sense lean mixture (too much air) and inject more fuel to make an 'ideal' mixture, hence the purpose of fuel save is defeated. Some more the device is at the middle of air filter and intake manifold, means the air suck inside the engine is bypass air filter, which will suck in the dirt that is disastrous for your engine. My opinion is 'NO GO'. This post has been edited by coolkwc: Feb 16 2011, 09:17 PM

QUOTE(R'des @ Feb 16 2011, 09:56 PM) more fuel then the engine will get 'stronger' ?? such as before put tat thing need press 30% pedal to get 3k rpm now press 20% oledi can get 3k rpm.... just asking lol It doesn't matter how much '%' pedal you apply, you must understand if you need a% of fuel to get ur car up to 3k, you will still need a% of fuel to do that even you press less throttle after you add that booster. Pedal is just the input that tells ECU for how much fuel it needs to inject, and the O2 sensor will adjust +- 10-20% accordingly. This post has been edited by coolkwc: Feb 16 2011, 10:08 PM
