yup, and also practise to know what will make a good HDR photo or not.

first, you must understand what is it that HDR actually does. it brings a balance between very bright and very dark areas of a photo, showing all in a properly exposed manner. hence, dynamic range cause you can see both bright and also dark at a proper exposure. from experience, i can tell you that clouds make great HDR, finding places with lots of clouds can give you a nice effect. try to cover 2/3 of the sky. besides that, look around any scenery which has both bright and dark, like say some building which is covered by the shadow of the sun. take my bridge for example:


you can see the clouds and also underneath the bridge more clearly due to the effect of hdr. if i were to expose it normally, only the bridge will have proper exposure, the sky will be too bright - can't see clouds - and underneath the bridge will be all black. so, you take 3 photos, 1 underexpose, so that the sky is properly exposed, 1 normal, and 1 overexpose so that underneath the bridge is exposed. merge them together and that's the result.

if you take a photo where everything has the same exposure, no skies which require underexposure, then HDR is pointless cause you'll roughly end up with the same image.

because mine is combination from photomatix + dynamic-photo hdr hehe. the output from either 1 by itself not as nice compared to combining both.

Nikkor 55-300. The VR is good even zoom in full extend.

yea not much choice just depending on the stage light since the concert at night. summore the fake stage smoke distrupts the quality.

still in dillema with that , 35mm personally tested .  very nice , since d3000 body cant go high iso , it would be a good lens to me .

telephoto , tested 18-200 zoom also nice.....  

i mean longer range also nice, can snipe ppl lol. but 35mm bokeh smooth . it is superb under low light , and it is only 2/3 stops slower than f1.4 iinm .

shooting indoor , with iso 400 , i guess the shutter speed can be increase more than 1/100

Good lens are sharp wide open, eg 70200 f/2.8, 2470 f/2.8, 14-24 f/2.8, 24 f/1.4, 85mm f/1.4D. These are the ones I have experience with.
Those Super GT shots were at the straight path before turn 15 (the tower). Nice spot there because the cars are slowing down, and you get a lot of action as 2 cars goes into corner.

Its at the grand stand mall area. Not at at paddock lo. Its opposite the paddock that building.
My first event at Sepang I already using my 70200. But should be no issue with the range, cause some of the shot I was using 105 range like that.
