I think u misunderstood what I said. For example, currently there's no way to watch rmvb on apps like cinexplayer or vlc player, the only way for me now to watch rmvb is by using zumocast.

So once I have downloaded the movie into zumocast, I can watch that movie without any connection or the needs to stream from my laptop. Meaning the movie is already in the iPad.

Bro u use wallcharger or usb charge? U shud use wallcharger then it will charge like normal. USB port not enuf power to charge iPad fast

@bidfordun: If the battery icon doesn't state that it's charging then it's not charging. However, the iPad will charge through certain USBs when it's in "sleep mode".

@bidfordub: When I connected my iPad to my MacBook's USB, it said "Not charging". It was at 28% when I plugged it in. After about 2 hours of being plugged in with the "Not charging" label replacing the battery icon, the percentage of battery power was still 28%. How does that explain it being charged?

I extract files from my iPod Touch/iPad by using Senuti. It does the opposite of iTunes. iTunes transfer files from your Mac/PC to your iPod/iPad whereas Senuti transfer files from your iPod Touch/iPad to your Mac. Hope that answers your question.

You can play any video file using IPAD VLC, just rename file ext.

Rename the filename to filename.avi. Thats it!
Any supported format in the Desktop version, Ipad version support. just rename to something.avi.
eg.

superduper.rmvb to superduper.rmvb.avi
superduper.vob to superduper.vob.avi

Load in using itunes, and play! To remove, delete the file from within itune's ipad/apps/vlc, highlight the file and press del key.

I guess the problem was I followed the steps and saw "None" for payment but just that it failed me and the message kept prompting in, no matter I used in iTunes US, Malaysia or Singapore.

I even tried registering using my credit card in iTunes Malaysia, it failed as well. I wish I have the screenshot for you guys.

Anyway, Arthur has helped me to register one and I'm now able to get my stuffs from Malaysia, at least.

There is a way if u still want upgrade to 4.2 and dont want to wait until november, i hv done and using it rite now. Pm me if u need more detail. This 4.2 did multitasking, but don't aspect it does like ur pc. Watching or hearing video clips on youtube then browsing other page will pause ur youtube...but u stil can reply ur email and back to ur visited website easily.

No issue on my version, it disappears but it still comes back with a touch. I use this post to try out.
I did try on Facebook embedded video (hot linked from Youtube), it won't work.
But if on Youtube site, it works.

It's always the slowest for Step 1: Backing Up.... but the rest of the steps seems fast.

Is there an option to prevent back-up each time when synching? I tot syncing is backup? 

I don't have much stuff in my ipad, i think less than 5G of stuff, so it shouldn't take this long?

I had this problem too. But I found this app which is able to disable and enable back anytime you want...try this link..

Under the comment section, got a app for you try...

By doing this, you cut short the steps from 5 steps to 3 steps, skipping the backup process. If you want to backup your files, just enable the backup via the app again...

i tried the "no-brainer" solution b4, but am not sure what happens when my ipad gets corrupted and i need to perform a restore.

In the event i don't have a backup, the only thing i can do is perform a sync, does that work to restore everything, since basically a sync transfers everything across just the same.....Apple has a different definition of "backup"?
