Getting Started

QUOTE(mE_duNNo @ Aug 12 2010, 06:09 PM) I too have a question regarding the promotion and demotion within the league. Lets say i am involved in a 2 v 2 team. How do i get promoted / demoted. Do i have to be num 1 for a certain period of time in order to get promoted? No, i was mid table in my Gold Division when i got promoted to platinum. I think, when battle.net thinks you're ready, the server will match you up constantly against players above your rank. If you're platinum you'll play against diamond, maybe up to 6 or 7 straight game. It doesnt matter if you lose 6 straight game, you'll still be matched against diamond players. During this period you need to get 1 or 2 win to get promoted. My friend just got promoted to diamond league today. He was losing 6 straight match against diamond players, then on 7th match he won and got promoted. This post has been edited by RtP|DEV: Aug 23 2010, 05:19 AM

I got promoted from Silver to Gold league last time. But I can't cope with most of the Gold players and got relegated to Silver.. But I didn't remember about my points reset back to zero when I change league..

i wonder why I am against platinum player while I am placed in silver league most of the time, although I do have a surprise victory over platinum league player before but I serious doubt my capabilities there..

btw in my last 2 games against favored opponent, I won and got 46 points each.
is that the highest possible point available for victory?
*sorry. tried Google. can't find much details on this.
