DT231 is a nice phone, I believe you will enjoy it for quite some time before you let go it. I owned taht before, I would say it is a good phone for its value..

What what's your next target?

Or just go and get a custom made cable, tell them your budget and they will recommend you.

Its all depend on the length of the cable and the connector type. Whats your budget for that? How long do you need?

Im kinda in a rush to get a decent amp/dac to improve the sq.. because the soundcard of my laptop is really suck and the sound comes out from it is really unbearable, so want to get either a affordable dac or amp first  brows.gif

If you really want to improve your SQ, I think the first step will be getting good source of music. Beginners tend to own lots of MP3 collection but try to rip your music collection into loseless format.
After that only you consider to get a decent soundcard for your dekstop, in this case USB soundcard with decent DAC chip. I think this is crucial if you really into good quality music, no point you get an amp and amplify your noise in your MP3 + noise produced by your notebook soundcard. Agree? Getting an amp is something to do after your source in proper quality. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

DDM and DBA-02. I tested DBA-02 few days back, thanks to William that bring along it together with the FA-003 and I own the DDM myself.

Put it this way, these two earphones really present the music in different way. The DBA is more on analytical side, maybe because of the nature of BA driver. The sound is so transparent and the high can expand far far from what DDM can. The vocal is details but I will say DDM is more emotional.

For example, when you listen to Diana krall, you can feel how she sing with DDM and with DBA-02, you can feel hows her voice in details more.

Bass is deep with texture for DDM, fuller compared to DBA.

I will say these two phones really excel in different aspect. I feel that DDM is warm with little to no hiss due to its sound nature.

Never try Earsonics, but tested Shure 530 before. Very nice detail but have to beware of the source, very sensitive to sibliance.

all expensive shizz >.>
wonder when will i get an iem above 600
people thinks im crazy
wala :that day my friend said I'm crazy to wanting to buy an iem above 200 LOL

Yeah, many will think "why would I spend so much on earphone? I rather go for bookshelf or dekstop speaker"
But then there is something you can't get with normal speaker compared to good earphone, and same happen when u lost something with earphone. I don't think many people can accept the fact that a lot of earphone cost more than RM1k, to them, RM100 earphone is good enough and it makes no difference for them to use a 1K earphone.

We appreciate music with our own way, that's what I can say..
