Yes the guys at Jaben will allow you to test whatever u set your eyes on...interested in that iem hanging on the stand? no problem....the expensive/cheap looking one in the corner? also no problem

My advice to you if you're going to audition stuff at jaben, with an intent to buy, is to tell yuheng/walabies your absolute maximum budget and test all the iem's they bring out for you.
Audition the iem's find the sound that's right for you and you'll probably stick with your gear for a long time

Yea~ Even if you don wan to buy yet, just want to survey also can go de... just try it and be it a learning experience... Learn more about earphones/headphones so that it is easier for u to choose~ Bring ur own player/songs and spend some time there~ Relax and enjoy~

Buying w/o research is ok but make sure you fully audit the stuff.
Don't just listen and buy, that'd be not so wise.
The earphone might be perform well in this aspect but not the others.
Find something that can last you long.

u shudnt be affected by review/research too much during audition, the practical experience is the most important factor. review might say it sounds warm, it sounds wat wat....but most important is what you feel....a rm5k earphone might sound terrible to your ear. although reviews shud be correct most of the time...still, spend wisely. say sorry to your pocket if you have a pair of picky ears.

Hmm, for Crossroad and Hippo we normally do 1 to 1 exchange for one year. Postage is acceptable too. Not much question asked.
I will tell you claiming warranty from the big brands is harder than claiming from us.
Post to us...
PM, SMS, call, email us and argue with it
Yes, totally agree with it.

That's why I strongly urge everyone to come and try it yourself.

if possible, i recommend going for shroom eb. at least u'll enjoy and stop ur upgraditis urge for a long while.
if u really really cant, the pearl would be a good choice. it's a bit muddy sounding, in other words, not as clean and clear sounding as shroom eb, but also quite balanced and also does a lot of things right.

Without audition I'd say the EB was my first very successful purchase. Most of my "just buy it later regret" purchases didn't turn out quite well.
The most expensive I have was the Sony EX-500. I sometimes miss its bass but the clarity and sparkle of the EB more than makes up for it's lack in boom.
