is there any equivalent rom that i can find and flash using odin?

I never got a screen flicker ever with my device yet

any idea which maxis center has ready stock for galaxy S? I've checked sunway, TTDI and Gardens. All 3 dont have stock

there is 12/18/24 months plan for galaxy S available from maxis bro. Do let me know if you can find a center which has ready stock.. i checked 3 center.. but all of them no stock .

14GB for internal SD card, 2 GB for ROM = 16GB.

16GB with that kind of price, i will surely doubt it is a 1st hand, and a 2nd hand without any problem to the handphone

so far the pros is the phone is real fast. and i havent apply any lagfix yet. but dunno, maybe it still too early to judge how fast it is.
and cons.. so far none. and hopefully there is none.

why dont u use 512?

Err, I used the 512 pit file. Worked like a charm.

Waah, I dunno where you're stuck at. This is what I did when I updated:

1. Start ODIN, selected 'repartition', chose 512 pit file.
2. PDA set to the *PDA*.MD5 file, MODEM set to the *MODEM*.MD5 file and CSC set to the *CSC*.md5 file.
3. Booted phone to Download mode (the android pic on screen)
4. Plugged in the phone, ODIN detects the phone.
5. Clicked START and waited until progress box showed PASS (green box).

I don't remember the phone ever booting up to the Recovery mode during the process.
